Kenya should be looking to leverage its advantages now. One area i think we should look at are the food and agro industries. Let's save the Chinese and rich Gulf Arab countries the heartache of eating lots of plastic food. The same way Latin American produce floods European supermarket shelves, we should flood the shelves of rich countries that have challenges in producing food with cheap and organically grown produce. It kills several birds with one stone : mass employment, solves recurring food deficits, earns forex, referral effect etc etc. Policies that create the greatest impact on the largest number of people in the shortest time possible.
