The basis of Union between Tanganyika and Zanzibar, is not Tanganyika!, it is Zanzibar!. It is not true that Tanganyika has taken away the independence of Zanzibar!, the truth is Tanganyika and Zanzibar got United by union into a one nation, Tanzania. Both nations lost their sovereignty and hence they doesn't exist anymore!.
