Kenya did the same on the Gibe dam on river Omo and the dam was built anyway. The dams do have a temporary effect downstream but things eventually normalize

Thanks. You do know they do an ecological survey and social impact studies before undertaking any project. Gibe saw a reduction of 50cm in Lake Turkana depth. With no increase in salinity whatsoever. Yet critics said the lake will see a decrease of 10M in depth.Ahaaa haaa haaa
