Watch out Malaba-Kampala no funds availed so far. And until u have over around $2 bln is when that electrification will take place so total cost for all ur envisaged SGR network + $2 bln plus. And who to pay that gigantic loan? Kenyans ofcourse. U will be so stupid to not understand what we r arguing overhere..

How did you come up with the +$2B cost? Electrification costs 15% of the rail cost....
Mombasa-Nairobi $3.8B, Nairobi-Naivasha $1.5B Naivasha-Kisumu $3.5B leaving a small section to Malaba lets say total cost $9B up to the border..... Electrification from Mombasa to Malaba cant be more than $1.3B, once we electrify we will need new trains meaning after we electrify we will use combination of diesel and electric we will have so many trains leaving to and fro and in between, the northern corridor will still be the busiest route in the region! Don't worry your little head about the money

Kumbuka hilo daraja lilijengwa 1850!!! sikuchukua zaidi ya sekunde 30 kupata hio picha, nina uhakika ukiruka miaka miamoja baadae yani 1950 utapata walikua wanatumia concrete and it will look very similar to the bridge on your renders, na kama hutapata picha inayofanana hivyo basi ujue mko taabani, as in no self respecting engeneer will want to implement(more like experiment) a civil engineering technology fete that has never been theorised and proven to work for atleast 2 decades.. I mean if they are building a new kind of bridge that they have never built before even back in their country, would you want to be labrats???? I don't think your govt civil engeneers would agree to something like that..

Tena isitoshe ukiangalia map, Kisumu iko karibu na Kampala kuliko Mwanza... Mizigo yenu itakua inachukua 72hours kufika kampala kutoka mwanza kubitia maji, yetu itakua inaenda na reli kwa masaa sita kutoka kisumu inafika kampala, tena isitoshe pia tukiipeleka ma meli kutoka bandari ya kisumu itachukua 48hours kufika/////

Mimi ninadhani Kenya mngejiuliza maswali mawili ya msingi na mngewaomba viongozi wa Kenya kutoa majibu ya kisomi sio kishabiki kama wanavyofanya siku zote:
1)Kwanini Kenya imeshindwa kulipia japo gharama ya phase moja ya SGR ili kuepuka riba kubwa inayotokana na madeni, hadi sasa deni la taifa linatishia sana uwezekano wa Kenya kukopesheka
2)Kwanini ujenzi wa SGR ya kenya ukikamilika hadi malaba, na kama wataamua kuweka na umeme baadae inaweza kufikia $11B, wakati ile ya Tanzania hadi Mwanza inatarajia kugharimu $6B, wakati ina zaidi ya 200km ndefu zaidi ya Kenya?

Nikupe tu taarifa saivi construction ipo in action bandari ya Dar expansion two times, Mtwara rebuild and expansion right now, Tanga rebuild and expansion right now for Uganda pipeline, Nyasa two bigger vessels already in operation for logistics, one for passengers in building right now, lake Tanganyika Kigoma port extension and EPZ building in building right now, Mwanza biggest ship for passengers and logistics to be built next year
 
Mishipa ya nini kujaribu kujenga na pesa zako wakati kuna priority nyengine.... Kwa mfano kenya ni nchi ina population ndogo kushinda Tanzania, Lakini ukiangalia bajeti ya elimu ya Kenya ya elimu pekee ni takriban $2Billion dollars, bajeti ya Tanzania ya elimu ni $600M .... Ukilinganisha bajet ya afya ni hivyo hivyo
Kama tungetakatungejenga SGR yote na pesa zetu lakini ingebidi tupunguze bajeti zengine kama hio ya elimu, jambo ambalo haliwezi fanyika kabisa hapa kenya manake hakuna mkenya atakubali bajeti ya vitu kama elim kupunguzwa, infact watu hua wanataka iongezwe zaidi
 
Vipi kuhusu gharama kuwa mara mbili ya ile ya Tanzania?, au wakenya hawatokubali gharama za ujenzi ziwe nafuu kama ulivyosema?. Katika mradi huu tu wa ujenzi, Tanzania itaokoa $5B ambazo wakitaka wanaweza kuongeza bajeti za afya na elimu mara mbili ya hiyo ya Kenya, hapo bado sijaweka riba katika hiyo $11B ambayo kenya italipa, kifupi huu mradi peke yake Tanzania itaokoa zaidi ya $7B ambazo zitapelekwa katika mradi wa umeme wa maji utakaozalisha 2000 MW mwaka 2020
 
Kwa taarifa yako Tanzania budget ya elimu ya primary mpaka ordinary level secondary serikali inatoa billion 40 kila mwezi sasa piga kwa mwaka then jumlisha advance level pamoja na colleges and higher education.

Kuhusu afya last year ilikua 30 billion for only drugs and medical equipments saivi ni 220 billion sasa nenda convert na bado kwenye Huduma za afya Kenya hamleti pua yenu Tanzania we are way far
 
Hata sisi mbali na bujeti tunapanga kuongeza hadi 3000MW by 2020....

Alafu hapo Tanzania SGR ya tz kutoka dar hadi mwanza ni at least $7B ...

SGR ya kenya itakua na urefu wa hadi 1,109 km, ya Tanzania ni about 1,224km hadi mwanza.

Mbali na umeme unafaa uangalie mambo mengine ya technical details ndo itajua tofauti inatokana wapi...
Kwa mfano reli ya Tz inajengwa ikitarajiwa kusafirisha kati ya 17-20 tonnes pa wakati ya kenya inatarajiwa kusafitisha 22million-35 million tonnes pa.

Reli yetu inajengwa Juujuu ya ardhi urefu wa 6.6meters above ground , hii inatumua pesa nyingi zaidi lakini haitawahi kupatwa na shida kama mafuriko... Reli ya Tz inajengwa 0.6meters abobe ground kama ile reli ya mkoloni..

Pesa hizo hizo tulizotumia kujenga SGR ndo zimetumika kujenga ICD ya Nairobi na pia ya Naivasha na ya Kisumu... ICD ya Nairobi ina uwezo wa kuchukua Contena 480,000! kila mwaka! Hio icd pekee iligharimu mihela, just for comparison bandari la dar lina uwezo wa 1 million TEU s containers kumaanisha hiyo icd ya Nairobi ni pekee ni nusu ya bandari lenu kuu la Dar..just imajin! Najua hata nyinyi mtajenga icd lakini katakua kadogo compaited icd za kenya...
Alafu bado hata hatujaona stesheni zenu zinakaa vipi manake ukangalia zile atesheni za kenya msa-Nai utaona zigharamu between $250m upto $350 of the cost
