Tanzania Yachomoa Kusaini Mkataba wa EPA

Wakenya mkubali tu kwamba mlikurupuka kwenye hii issue,maana hata rwanda inaonekana mlimlaghai tu mpaka nayeye akajijuta ana saini kitu asichokijua.
Hata hili la kutoa tena miezi mitatu sio kwamba liliibuka tu ghafla,lilikuwa limeshapangwa baada ya kubaini kasoro.
hivi mnaelewa kupitia hili dudu, hata soko kubwa la bidhaa za kenya lilipo hapa tz litafutika kabisa?
Ni bidhaa ipi kutoka afrika inayoweza ku meet standards za hawa watu?au kwa sababu ya hako kamsemo ka middle income sijui ndio mnafikili mnaweza kupewa priority?
Population yetu EA kwa sasa inatosha kabisa kutoa soko la uhakika kwa bidhaa zetu lkn huko mnakotaka kutupeleka ni machokoani kabisa maana hata uchumi wa viwanda inabidi tusahau.

the only thing then, that will be keeping us in EAC will be because of trade, not because of the spirit of good neighbourliness and brotherhood,,,,, it wont be because its in our hearts that we have a destiny, it will just be to fill our pockets..... the dream will be lost

a nyang'au talking of brotherhood.... tangu lini mna sense hiyo. nyie si mnasemaga unyang'au unyang'au tu... when we talk about brotherhood mnatuitaga wavivu... sasa vipi nanyi mwataka kua wavivu? achen izo bhana si hatutaki kuwaambukiza.

when a Ugandan meets a Kenyan in a foreign club then you'll know what I mean by brotherhood....
Or when you see a kenyan in Uganda or a Ugandan in Kenya, and then one of them insults (jokingly) the other country, and instead of people from the other country getting offended, they insult the other country back, like some form of a bonding joke , while they are complete strangers..... then you'll understand brotherhood

Wacha maneno mob budah, ulizia venye brotherhood ilikuwa kipindi ya Kagera war. Ati jokingly, our countrymen shed blood whilst liberating Ug, no brotherhood exceeds that. Hii issue ya EPA we're being of a brotherhood help unto ye, but your leaders eyes have become shortsighted with their bellies filled with embezzlement.

Uganda had a crazy president. he invaded you and after going round the world asking for international help in vain, you had no reason but to fight back......... that is the past..... and am not talking of that kind of brotherhood that presidents talk about when they hold bilateral discussions...am talking about regular people brotherhood, one-on-one..... not linked by history or stories of the past, linked because we like each other now, because we identify with each other now

Shida pekee iliyopo kwenye Jumuiya hii ni tamaa ya Kenya kutaka kila kitu wafaidike wao bila kujali maslahi ya nchi nyingine. Sababu kubwa zilizovunja Jumuiya ya mwanzo ni hizo hizo, ubinafsi wa Kenya ukiongozwa na Jomo Kenyatta na Charles Njonjo.
EPA ishaelezwa wazi kuwa haina maslahi kwa nchi zote za Jumuiya (na Kenya pia) ila wafanyabiashara wachache wakishirikiana na serkali yenu wanata kufaidika kupitia migongo ya nchi nyingine.

Viongozi wachumia matumbo ndio wanaisi watapiata faida. Kumbe itakuja kuleta madhara sana
 
Tanzania rejects EPA


MPs from both ruling and opposition camp advised the government to ignore the trade deal for it is principally aiming at killing local industries.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr Job Ndugai, said it needs some level of madness to endorse the deal.

hivi bado unandoto ya sisi kusaini huo mkataba ??
 
So let me get this. Tanzania doesn't sign(more power to them) but some countries in the sadc have signed kenya and Rwanda will get a deal worked out too.

The way I see it. Either Tanzania closes it's borders and it's market or else their market will get flooded with same European goods they are fighting to keep out
