1)Chakula
2)Raw materials
3)As a gate way to access Southern African Markets.
4)Markets for its products
5)For investment

Taja ni kitu gani Tanzania inategemea kutoka Kenya?.

Can you imagine Kenya blackmailing the EU based on the horticultural products we sell them? they would just laugh us off..

Kenyan authorities should take this advantage of Covid 19 and close the border, TZ farm produce is bad for our farmers coz cartel importers are the beneficiaries as our farmers struggle to get a market.

Tanzania people are the last people to depend on for anything... we don't rely on them for 100% of anything, only some few products when they are out of season or low supply na hatuwezi kulala... ni matusi tu... that is no way to treat a customer.

fruits and vegetables are food products too ... or you don't know what i mean by "horticultural products"?
Kenya exports high value agricultural products all over the world ... from tea ,coffee, macadamia, avocados , daily products etc... i have never heard any Kenya saying we feed anyone ...

Its clear your understanding of simple commerce fundamentals is beyond you.. if we get anything from TZ, its in exchange for cash not donor aid...

Why are poor people so arrogant.?

The markets will adjust soon, our food dealers will shift..

What you export to Europe are not food per say in terms of your staple food, Kenya produces what it doesn't consume, and consumes what doesn't produce, that is very dangerous especially if what you produce can't generate enough money to buy what you consume.

In Kenya you consume maize, rice, legumes, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, fruits and meat, all these you import from others countries, your productions within Kenya can't match your demand.

We import food to fill a small percentage of the high demand... But get your facts right.. And by the way we produce more potatoes than TZ.. Tembea kinangop..

I didn't see him but even his ambassador in Tanzania called press conference to blame Tanzania why they closed their border.As i know ambassador represent President.
