The Daily Nation(Kenya): Like others, Tanzania's Magufuli is bound to fail

Wazungu hawawezi kumsifia adui.

japokuwa kwa mbali jamaa anafail.

You were Indeed Manipulated. If feel sorry for you and other people of your type.

Lowassa is not a corrupt person. Lowassa is the president (in hearts of many). We are going to remember him soon. Watch this space!!
This is all water under the bridge. The elections are over.

Why don't you (opposition) try to field Lowassa in 2020 or 2025 and see if the denizens of Tanzania agree with you.

It is not what I want. I just pointed out the obvious things here. Excuse me!
So, let us assume I am on CCM payroll. Would this invalidate my critique of prof. Cheeseman article? You see, this is where objectivity comes in. Look at my responses to the article by the good professor and tell me where you disagree or agree with me. Resorting to name-calling (brainwashed, CCM stooge, and the like) leaves a lot to be desired about your intellectual capacity.

If you want I am going to make things simple for you - call me a CCM stalwart. But then let us elevate this discourse to discuss ideas presented in this thread. Short of that I would suggest that probably you are in the wrong forum.

Wazungu huwa hawarembi. Wao husema ukweli bila kumumunya maneno. Ni kweli magufuli amefail kabla hata hajaanza. He is a failure.
Sasa mkuu nikuulize swali:
Was Kikwete a failure?
Was Mkapa a failure?
Was Mwinyi a failure?
Was Nyerere a failure?

What metric do you use (ni kigezo gani unachotumia) to measure success or failure. The guy has just completed 20% of his first presidential term and you already call him a failure? I remember you guys were calling him a failure within a month of taking office. Please Sir, list for us the metrics you use to measure failure of our leaders.

I am trying to stay with the English language because this is an English only forum. However, I will whip out my native Swahili from time to time.

Wewe mkuu umenisikitisha sana. Hati "Wazungu huwa hawarembi". My God. Hivi umejisikiliza ulichokiandika. Tuko karne ya 21 na bado we are kissing white-man behinds. Pitiful.

Ya-rabi, tutakuja jitawala lini sisi maskini?

He is '' likely'' to fail

CCM 's payroll is killing your thinking aptness.

Prof. Cheeseman said JPM is likely to fail citing a bona fide instance of Satta.

He is on the right path currently but care should be taken in making sure that Democratic principles are adhered, which are Legal Equality, Political Freedom, and the rule of law...

A self proclaimed egalitarian kind of leadership is not relevant when the rights of a certain class in the society are infringed.

Likely to fail implies a probabilistic estimation of Magufuli's future performance. Is it a 51% likelihood or a 90%. I will take those odds anytime. His (Magufuli's) track record over the years has shown him to be goal oriented and outcome driven. If his prior performance in leadership is anything to go by then the prognosis looks very good to me. I would rate his future probability of success at more than 80%. You see, before this professor decided to make these flippant assessments that Magufuli is likely to fail, he should have done a probabilistic analysis of his past performances first.

Are Britain and USA Democracies?
You talk a lot about democratic principles and how they are likely to be bent under Magufuli's rule. Let us look at Britain and USA. The so called "main stream media" is feeding their people lies with the sole purpose of denying their people of the right information for them to make informed decisions (elections). Information is the first prerequisite for a democratic process.

USA and Britain are no longer democracies. They are plutocracies (governments of the corporations, by the corporations and for the corporations). The corporations (include corporate media) are basically running these countries. It doesn't matter whether Trump or Clinton wins the election. Each one of them is going to do the biding of their corporate masters. USA and Britain are just tools of the multinationals.

If Mr. Cheeseman is a professor worth his salt, I would have liked him to start criticizing British and American governments for stifling democracy in their countries instead of taking cheap shots at Magufuli and Tanzania.

One important thing to alert this professa ...Magufuli is a persistent leader who believes on his agenda...

Lumumba agents at work! TSHS 7000 per day!
Vipi, unataka tukufanyie machepta na wewe uingie? Buku saba sio haba! Jua kali mkuu.

Just kidding, Sir. But I agree with you, great minds think alike. So it is not a coincidence that jingalao and I agree on these issues.

So that people like you who writes silly articles take notice

You sound like those few people who were having a good time during KIKWETE rule while the majority of Tanzanians suffering.

What President MAGUFULI is doing is the only way to put Tanzania straight. People who are used to take short cut now they can not cope with the truth. The chest thumbing people who used to use their position to intimidate others are finding difficult to cope.

People who made themselves rich by stealing from the majority are feeling the pain.

People like Mbowe the so called head of oppostion who took advantage doing business in a public building free and not paying rent for so many years amounting to 1.3 billions will hate President MAGUFULI because the rule of law is touching the untouchable, so therefore, `I do understand your pain.
I will never change my mind as I am one of the Tanzanians who support fairness and hate injustice. President MAGUFULI government, so far is doing just that, it has shown to be fair for the majority of Tanzanians, the few let them complain.
