The trains are finally on the way. They are currently being loaded onto trucks in Mallorca en route to Barcelona and from where they will be shipped to Mombasa on the 21st of July 2020 & arrive 25 days later. Nairobi is continuing to leave to all East African cities behind and I can remember I have been singing to some people here that Nairobi needs MRT more than BRT. I can`t wait for August to reach so that I set my eyes in these beautiful beasts.

Subiria sasa bei yake. Hapo ndio scandal ya 'come and see' itakuwa. Utahesabiwa billions na spare zitaanza kununuliwa kesho yake kama special order kwa sababu huo mfumo ni obsolete.Wataalam wataingia kuzifanyia kazi kwa gharama kubwa ili ziendane na SGR ya Kenya. Finally utasikia ooh! Ruto alihusika kuzileta - sababu ndio wimbo wa taifa wa lawama Kenya. Hapa nawapa miezi mitatu tu uanze kusikia 'Spain train scandal' na mabilioni ya hela yatakuwa yanatajwa. Kwa mzigo uliotupwa - yaani dumping ya kimataifa. Pathetic Kenyans. Choo cha kike ndio mtindo wa maendeleo.
 
Tanzanians are bitter about these DMUs because:

i) Their promised electric sgr phase 1(200km) is not complete three years later. While Kenya has 600+ km of functioning sgr running over 14 cargo trains a day over the last two years. GOT has looked for all manner of excuses, from rain and now they are putting the blame squarely on the feet of crocodiles which supposedly are biting and scaring workers.

ii) They know they are decades behind Kenya in development and economically, so the only thing they can do is feel jealous and try to discredit Kenya even though all of the world knows Kenya is decades ahead of Tanzania in economic and infrastructure development.

iii) They are a disillusioned lot, they were fed promises by GOT that have not been kept that is why photos of their sgr are almost always the same location but with no trains.

iv) What they have ended up with after all the hullabaloo, is a semi literate dictator and nothing else. He promised to make dar port bigger than mombasa instead mombasa is now bigger than all their ports combined. He promised they would have electric trains by November last year, all they have three years is like 50km of overhead lines and laid track, no trains, no train station is complete and no enough power to even supply to their own citizens.

Please Kenyans understand Tanzanians when they feel bad about Kenyan development. It is because nothing works in their country. They are compensating for their failures by taking it out on anything Kenyan all across the internet. Their country is a pariah not just in eac but also in sadc where other sadc leaders have to tolerate their insanity.

The only thing that gives them hope is their shared misery with countries like burundi, given that Rwanda is doing almost everything far much better than them from education, agriculture etc.

Their only recourse will forever be their age old grievances that Kenya developed by stealing from Tanzania. Nyerere said it and their grand children will too.

Lakini bado KDF walinunua MV- Jasiri toka Spain used, lakini TPDF wakanunua meli mbili mpya za kivita, ndege za kivita 14 mpya, na Amphibious tanks mpya.

Sorry for ur desperation, but this is how things are and no way out u have to accept this bitter truth that Tz is going to take the lead socially, economically and politically as well.
 
Moderator please futa huu uzi cz unapotosha umma, haiwezekani second hand vehicle ikaitwa new ni wizi wa wazi kwa Wakenya.
