Stop nonsense, why are you not going to Uganda, Ethiopia or South Sudan, for your information, even Burundians are flocking to Tanzania despite of their poverty, every one wants to visit Tanzania, it is a unique country nor one wants to miss it. If I plan to visit any country in EA, Kenya is on the bottom of my list, insecurity and corruption are major repellants

You had the opportunity to beat us which you squandered. In 2007 we had the PEV and our tourism industry was crushed. All our main source countries like the USA, UK, Germany etc issued travel warnings against Kenya to their citizens. In fact the first quarter of 2008 we received almost no tourists. Like the legendary Phoenix we are, we picked up our pieces and started recovering. All this time Tanzania should have taken advantage and beaten us once and for all - you didn't.😎

Just as we were recovering two years later in 2010, the alshabaab started kidnapping tourists in Lamu and the coast. Their menace continued through turning into terror attacks in 2011, 2012 and reaching their peak with the Westgate tragedy in 2013. Tanzania should have taken advantage and became East Africa's tourists hub. You didn't.🙂🙂

From 2013 through to 2014, Alshabaab attacks continued reaching another peak in 2015 Garissa University attack with most of Europe and America issuing travel advisories against Kenya. All this time Tanzania didn't beat us.🙂🙂

In 2015, Nkaissery took over the Internal security Ministry and worked hard to fight terrorism. By 2016, Kenya was safe and no country was issuing travel advisories. Now Kenya is working on its tourism again after 9 years of terror and travel advisories.

Now tell me, if Tanzania couldn't beat us all those 9 years when the Kenyan tourism industry constantly suffered travel advisories how would you beat us now? Considering what we've been through, Tanzania should be ahead of Kenya and that's the only reason some Kenyans couldn't burst your lies. Currently, Kenya is picking up its pieces in tourism and we are already having more tourists than you, making more money than you and growing faster than you. Mark you, you couldn't beat us when our tourism industry was going down - now it's going up. So tell me exactly how you're going to beat us?😀😀😀

Hahahaa, that is only known to you with your tribesmen, but it is know world over that Kenya is heavily infested by terrorists and clans clashes, and is one among leading countries on corruption, those are major factors why people do hesitate to come there, instead they use JKIA as a feeder airport to our tourism sector.

You keep forgetting Kenya has always been the "darling of the West", they have their people there no matter how mach Waswahili mkifanya fujo, the white man will find his way and protect his assets.

2007 Kenya FDI ilikuwa $720millon wakati Tanzania ilikuwa $580million. Mpaka tarehe ya leo 2018, Tanzania tumesha kusanya FDI $1.4 billion na Kenya ni $390 million, you can see what has change from 2007 to 2018. And that money is going in all sectors including tourism.
