The Real East Africa's Tourism King: Lies Unraveled

The Real East Africa's Tourism King: Lies Unraveled

You keep forgetting Kenya has always been the "darling of the West", they have their people there no matter how mach Waswahili mkifanya fujo, the white man will find his way and protect his assets.

2007 Kenya FDI ilikuwa $720millon wakati Tanzania ilikuwa $580million. Mpaka tarehe ya leo 2018, Tanzania tumesha kusanya FDI $1.4 billion na Kenya ni $390 million, you can see what has change from 2007 to 2018. And that money is going in all sectors including tourism.
You're contradicting yourself - one time you're saying Kenya's is the darling of the West (reason we beat you in tourism) then next you're boasting about FDI from the west with unsubstantiated figures.

Learn history, regional politics zilikiwa zina wazuia kuja Tanzania, Tanzania was busy fighting them everywhere in Africa. But time has change war is over, and now they're going where the money is, starting with Israel.

Nipe source ya i data tafadhali.. ..fdi ya kenya mere $390mn?
Kenya doesn't have muscles to fight against Tanzania, please forget about competition with Tanzania. FDI, tourism revenue, economy growth, growth on manufacturing sector, Agriculture, mining sector and transportations, Tanzania is by far ahead of Kenya, only sector which Kenya is doing well comparing to Tanzania is financial sector, Marathon, and education.

So sahii regional politics bado zinazuia wazungu kuja Tz?

You just don't get it Mwanzi hahahaha!😀😀😀
You had the opportunity to beat us which you squandered. In 2007 we had the PEV and our tourism industry was crushed. All our main source countries like the USA, UK, Germany etc issued travel warnings against Kenya to their citizens. In fact the first quarter of 2008 we received almost no tourists. Like the legendary Phoenix we are, we picked up our pieces and started recovering. All this time Tanzania should have taken advantage and beaten us once and for all - you didn't.😎

Just as we were recovering two years later in 2010, the alshabaab started kidnapping tourists in Lamu and the coast. Their menace continued through turning into terror attacks in 2011, 2012 and reaching their peak with the Westgate tragedy in 2013. Tanzania should have taken advantage and became East Africa's tourists hub. You didn't.🙂🙂

From 2013 through to 2014, Alshabaab attacks continued reaching another peak in 2015 Garissa University attack with most of Europe and America issuing travel advisories against Kenya. All this time Tanzania didn't beat us.🙂🙂

In 2015, Nkaissery took over the Internal security Ministry and worked hard to fight terrorism. By 2016, Kenya was safe and no country was issuing travel advisories. Now Kenya is working on its tourism again after 9 years of terror and travel advisories.

Now tell me, if Tanzania couldn't beat us all those 9 years when the Kenyan tourism industry constantly suffered travel advisories how would you beat us now? Considering what we've been through, Tanzania should be ahead of Kenya and that's the only reason some Kenyans couldn't burst your lies. Currently, Kenya is picking up its pieces in tourism and we are already having more tourists than you, making more money than you and growing faster than you. Mark you, you couldn't beat us when our tourism industry was going down - now it's going up. So tell me exactly how you're going to beat us?😀😀😀

Hizo zote ni porojo, feel good story and wishful thinking. Our tourism industry is doing way far better than of yours. Mind you, our short and interim term tourism development plans are done. Which inteil investing in tourism sites infrastructure. Good ENOUGH, we are about to finish our long term plan of improving our air ports to meat a world class standard and having a vibrant flag carrier. Which indeed both of them have been worked with successful. The terminal III is about to be done and the flag carrier, ATCL is at a good pace as our plan.

Tafuta namba ya tourist visited Tanzania and Kenya lets say 2007, compare that to 2017 utaona kama Tanzania ilikuwa wapi na iko wapi leo

Tanzania seems to have successfully developed a premium tourism model that targets high-spending tourists; the country makes an average of $2,020 per arrival, the highest by far in East Africa (see table titled “Average receipts per arrival”)). This is more than twice that of second-placed Uganda, where the average visitor spends $881.

Kiufupi watalii wa Kenya target yao ni Kibera wakati sisi ni Serengeti, Mikumi, Selous, Ngorongoro na Kilimanjaro. Mtalii Kenya he doesnt spend much compared to Tanzania hata Uganda inawazidi

Ndio nilikuwa nasema hapa toka jana. It cost a good amount of money kuja holiday Tanzania hasa kwa hao wanaotaka mbali. Matajiri wanapenda kwenda zile sehemu exclusive ambapo haku halaiki ya watu wengi na fujo nyingi.

Mzee wakukulupuka hadi muda huu hajanipatia source au link ya thread yake. Niki google image source inasema jamii forum😀😀

Nairobiwalker got them squirming and squealing

The data is from Tanzania tourism board and that's what they don't know how to deal with it
He has not revealed the source or the link of his data on the thread. Am waiting for that. The only source from our side is that data to do with the country from which the tourists are coming from. With that we have not argued. We even want for Kenya to be at 25% cause all we need is money(earning)

Number of tourists in Kenya 2016 - 1.4M
Amount contributed to GDP - $2.5 B
Amount spent per tourist = 2.5B/1.4M = $1785

Number of tourists in Tanzania 2016 - 1.2M
Amount contributed to GDP - $2.1B
Amount per tourist = $2.1B/1.2M = $1750

Hivi Kati ya 1785 and 1750 gani kubwa? Anayetumia $1785 na $1750 nani tajiri?

Leo nawatoa povu liishe hadi mtoe moshi😀😀😀
