Source is Himself and many more who have visited the country.
Do you want the source if I say there is traffic jam in Dar es salaam and that during rainy season Kariakoo streets are clogged with dirty water.
Mamanalia nyamaza tu wewe!, mwaka huu uongo hautaishinda kweli katu!.

Kwa hili la Libya kwa kweli am with Ghadafi kwani democracy siyojali maisha ya watu ina faida gani kama udictator unaweza kuleta welfare even Jesus is a dictator kwani anasema none comes to God without passing through me is this democracy?

Is the issue about Jesus or Gadaffi? You really have a problem, kwani you have to find a loophole to bring udini in every topic, and in fact there is no slight indication of udini from the one who started the topic!!! You must be really sick, as ukristo kweli unakusumbua....How does Jesus come into this discussion? How can you talk about Jesus you dont know and even believe? How can you talk about democracy of which you have no sl8ghtest clue as what it is? When Jess says "I am the way, the truth and the life..." He is not forcing anyone into the kingdom, rather he is inviting people and people did make choice to either follow him or refuse...Do you really know what democracy means? Jesus talked about theocracy and nt democracy my friend and please spare Jesus out of this Gadhaffi business....You need help...psychologically since Jesus and Christianity is really eating you up and eventually you can not do anything about the faith of another person...stay with your faith and dont make makufuru kwa imani za watu wengine....

Libyan rebels hit by NATO air attack

Second such incident in less than a week leaves five fighters dead, in country's eastern oil town of Brega.

"We were standing by our tanks and NATO fired two rockets at us," said one, Salem Mislat. "NATO are liars. They are siding with Gaddafi."
A NATO air attack has hit a Libyan rebel position near the eastern oil town of Brega, killing at least five fighters, according to rebel fighters and a hospital worker.

US ‘on guard’ for terror attacks from Libya: FBI chief

From ANI

Washington, Apr 7(ANI): The United States is "on guard" for terrorist attacks "emanating" out of war-torn Libya, FBI Director Robert Mueller has said.

The assessment came a day after the FBI confirmed that it was contacting Libyan nationals living in and visiting the US in an effort to "determine whether there is a threat to Americans".

Mueller, testifying before the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies, said that the US is also prepared for Libyan operatives who "may well" be in the country after crossing the Mexico or Canada border.

"We also want to make certain that we are on guard [for] the possibility of terrorist attacks emanating somewhere out of Libya, whether it be Gaddafi's forces or, in eastern Libya, the opposition forces who may have amongst them persons who in the past have had associations with terrorist groups," Fox News quoted Mueller, as saying.

He also noted that "there may be intelligence officers that are operating with different types of cover in the US."

"We want to make certain that we've identified these individuals to ensure no harm comes from them, knowing they may well have been associated with the Gaddafi regime," he added.

Hiyo mimi kama mkristo tena mhubiri wa habari njema ya kristo nisipolisema ole ni kwangu maana nashiriki laana hiyo ambayo the authour of all this is the prince of this world the Devil in the name of diplomacy; is a sin and actually an abomination to our good and loving God who is not respector of persons. The devil is a liar!

The minute western Governments started freezing Gaddafi billions reportedly (60 Billions) two weeks ago the fate of Libya was sealed.
The four leading partners in this collation France , UK, Canada & the USA had no intention of ever returning these frozen funds to the people of Libya.

In a crafty move last week in Paris Sarkozy meet with the leader of the Libyan opposition and promise to help them overthrow Gaddafi I am sure document were signed that will lumber Libya with the bill for this military action.

Since the west already has 60 old billion dollars of Gaddafi money they are in a good position to start spending it on this conflict.

The Arms Industry big boys are rubbing their hands with glee at the money that will be made at the cost of more Arab blood but the game they are in human life is just a by product.

Once they have destroyed Libya and all its military hardware they will just sell the next Libyan leader new Arms in exchange for Oil and this is win,win for the Arms Industry.

That is why the poor countries like Zimbabwe, Somalia, Yemen, and many other are just ignored by the world.
No money to be made so let them kill each other nice world Leaders we have looking after our fate in life.

Libya just follow the money, why the west attacked, page 1

I don't query or doubt Gadafi's contribution to humanity, especially the Moslem community and his own people. My concern is not Gadaffi...in fact I do not like America's intervention in the whole affair as I know just as you know that they are there for their own interests...OIL. My concern is equating Jesus (who is God) with Gadafii, a mere human like me and you...how can we rate him to be on the same level with God? That is where you have erred ndugu yangu....Yes Gadaffi might have done good deeds, just like you and me, but does that equate us with the MOST Holy God? Think about it

Interesting indeed but could this be true? How come then the easterners (those from Benghazi and other towns) are damn anti Gaddafi?

Some other facts (that mainstream media will never tell you) about this "terrible dictator and blood sucking monster" Gaddafi who "terrorizes" his own people and Libya:

- Credits to Libyan citizens were given with NO interest.

- Students would get paid the average salary for the profession they are studying for.

- If you'd be unable to get the employment the state would pay the full salary as if you were employed.

- When you got married the couple got an apartment or house for free.

- You could go to college anywhere in the world. The state paid 2,500 euros plus for accommodation and a car.

- The cars were sold at factory cost.

- Libya does not owe money, (not a cent) to anyone. No credits.

- Free education and health care.

- 25% of population with a university degree.

- No beggers on the streets and no homeless (until this bombing).

- Bread costs $0.15.

No wonder the US and other capitalist countries do not like Libya. Gaddafi would not consent to taking the IMF or World Bank credits at high interest rates. In other words Libya was INDEPENDENT! That is the real reason for war in Libya! He may be a dictator, but that is not the US problem.

Tatizo kubwa kwenye thread yako sio kuwa hakuweka source kama wachangiaji walivyomhoji bali hujui kabsa Walibya wanapigania nini. They are not fighting for a slice of bread for God sake. Why can't people even make simple research about the conflict? You will have all you listed but if you don't have freedom, then they become irrelevant. Wao wanachodai ni uhuru. Just that. Why you didn't inlude freedom on the list?

Sikatai kwamba: What you are saying might be true... In fact; all of it might be true.
On my opinion, nafikiri: pamoja na huduma zote hizo, it still wasn't enough compared to their national income.
Ni wazi kuwa si shwari... kiasi kwamba "only a spark" would lead to protests!

Rebel mosque demolished in restive Libyan city

Government forces have razed a mosque formerly used by rebels as a command centre in a western Libyan city, stepping up efforts to eradicate symbols of resistance against leader Muammar Gaddafi. Rebel forces held Zawiyah for several weeks after an anti-Gaddafi uprising erupted in Libya in mid-February but were defeated on March 10 after a series of fierce battles.

The coastal town about 50 km (30 miles) west of Tripoli is now firmly under state control, with Gaddafi flags flapping in the sea breeze and streets patrolled by state militiamen. But the mosque's demolition has distressed some locals. "People are upset," said Mohammad, a shop owner. "How can you remove a mosque in a central square just like that? It's a Muslim country."

The white stone building with a towering minaret -- also used by rebels as a field hospital -- was knocked down a week ago and bulldozed into a flat patch of sandy land. A nearby makeshift graveyard in the central square where rebels buried their dead has also been flattened.

When Reuters correspondents visited Zawiyah on March 5, the cemetery contained about 20 graves. The mosque, a rallying point where rebel fighters came to pray, plan and rest, was also then intact, blaring anti-Gaddafi messages through a loudspeaker. "The government demolished it because there was a lot of filth inside," said Abulqassim Omar, a local resident.

The government took reporters to Zawiyah on Tuesday to show the city was under its control. A few dozen Gaddafi supporters waved flags and shouted slogans in the central square. Official minders confirmed the mosque had been demolished by the government but there was no official comment.

The city is now a world apart. Under rebel control, ordinary civilians were openly anti-Gaddafi and opposition flags flew from many buildings. Rebels interviewed by Reuters said they wanted to oust Gaddafi and call free and fair elections. Almost everyone interviewed on Tuesday echoed the official line, partly because government minders kept a close eye on contacts between local residents and visiting journalists.

One man, standing outside his shop, chose a moment when they were not looking to paint a darker picture of life in the city. "Don't you see how tightly controlled we are now. Government spies have us surrounded in this city and we are scared to talk," he said. "Those were revolutionaries and civilians that they killed, they were not gangs or al-Qaeda."

Describing scenes of fighting, he added: "The armed forces would use tanks and spray the buildings with the bullets without a clear target, they would spray the buildings. ... But we can't talk, all of Zawiyah is gone, either escaped or arrested." All around, ruined facades were decorated with Gaddafi portraits. With houses gutted and walls pockmarked with bullet holes, the city was subdued and most shops were boarded up.

Graffiti saying "Get out dictator" was still seen through the green paint used to cover it. Fences were plastered with statements from the Green Book -- Gaddafi's political manifesto. Some were visibly upset. An old man stopped in the central square, shaking his head as he looked at a crowd of Gaddafi supporters dancing near a place where the mosque used to stand. "It will never be the same," he said. "Why are they so happy? I don't know."
