This election is not about Lowassa, It is about us

I'll demur with you on your extenuation of our public procurement debacle....from issues like 10% (I know it's a cliche) to non-performance of due diligence...that's why the gov is purchasing a lot of spurious, used and old products...I bet those BVR equipments are not new...

NEC's covert plan is not a tough nut to crack....that's the final straw....however CDM should continue to play hardball with them.... When the going gets tough, the tough get going....

I anticipate a tough and a rough game from a kakistocracy...by the way, to think that the whole process will be smooth as silk will be too oneiric....

With all this, the administration under ccm boasts itself to have political competition exist in the country, but then make it extremely impossible for them to exist at all.
They just made a show of police force in Arusha few days before the showdown, probably to intimidate voters and the opposition.
Fighting ccm is an uphill battle, but there's some light at the end of the tunnel, let's just hold hope with a day to go that, this time around political changes can come through the ballot box

CCM has been running the show as a one party state disguised as a multiparty democracy all along...the opposition especially CDM have gone through hell with these guys in power....there was a millitary showdown in Mtwara....

Nevertheless, there is a new hope, hope in certainty...that this is the year of change....we will vote on Sunday and with God's grace upon us, our team will lead by a higher margin against all odds.....

I wanna salute Team UKAWA for an extraordinary job of getting the message of change out there in a peaceful fashion....their hardwork, commitment and energy has created a sense of hope for a new beginning...From Mtwara to Mara, Dar to Kigoma, Tanga to Geita and Katavi, people are fired up....

I commend Mr. Lowassa for showing an amazing perseverance, wisdom and enthusiasm throughout the campaign period....I can't be more optimistic....

To CCM and NEC, they shouldn't forget that People's Power is always stronger than the power of a few minority class of individuals aiming to protect their self interests.....and that Justice is the strongest currency for Peace...

Have you gone through the newly proposed constitution of Warioba that CCM ditched?
Not a bad idea, but I think essentially that is what the ministry does not, and they do not seem to be doing such a great job. Every ministry belong to the head of the cabinet, did prime minister took any action.??
You are asking me that? The wrongs of a minister are not transfered to the PM automatically....you understand that both the minister and PM in question belong to your party....

You didn't answer the question.....after all we are not dealing with speculations, we are dealing with facts......
You realize that you don't have a veto vote in this election...you are not 22 million voters....
What lies?...are those people in social media not part of the public?

CCM under Magufuli.
You didn't answer the question correctly.....

You missed my point, I didn't ask about Magufuli or Kikwete's 'connection with voters'. Just go back and check.
I'm not asking about ideologies, Why has Magufulu failed in his Ministry to fight corruption and graft according to CAG and PPRA reports? and your head tell you that he can be successful in the same fight as President!!!!!
I don't think you been following the budget meetings in the previous parliament. If you do, you can't say that unless they were speaking spanish to you!!!!
Stop protecting Lowassa, a candidate that has already lost all credibility.
Stop protecting CCM, a party that has lost credibility.
I think you should tell that to your fellow CCM friends!!!
We cannot put our future at risk by electing the party that has failed by all measures!!!!
teh teh teh do you think CDM is going to win.?? It is over my ----, literally.
Do you think he wins because I want it? No, it's because people are tired of CCM!!!

This election is tough. I think there won't be victory by 60% or 70% or 80%.

Hi,

I guess it is fair to say that we the followers of this thread benefited a great deal from the discussion - thank you all.

In this thread (and I commend JD for introducing it) a heated debate raged on with people like Kubwajinga, Maziku Masunga Jr. and myself on one side and the very capable Jack Daniel's, yero and kui on the other. I learned a lot from those discussions, again thank you very much. Throughout the debate I wasn't really sure of the elections outcome BUT I stuck to my evolving decisions based purely on objective principles and not emotions.

Maybe I can now say that sometimes it is wise to heeds the words of old folks like me (I don't mean to gloat). Many a times we know what we are talking about - NOT always - LOL.

So, two weeks ago I came home and I finally voted on Sunday. I left soon after voting. I look forward to the official announcement of results come Thursday.

In the meantime I pray that peace reigns today and always. We can do evaluations of what went wrong or right and where, later. Right now we really need to pool together in a hypothetical group hug and start the healing process. We need each other more than we sometimes think.

I love you guys.

Cheers.

Kifyatu

Mungu Ibariki Tanzania.

Nimekusikia mkuu na asante sana.

Kwa sasa mimi nalamba viroba vyangu nilivyokuja navyo.

Kila la kheri.

I like your good explanation about that.

Thanks mkuu Kifyatu

Same here, learned a lot from you and everyone who has immensely participated in this thread. That was fun guys!, And as the country is in the pose mood, patiently waiting for wakubwa to decide (un freaking believable!) let's hope for the best of our country.

Sorry to say but u don't expect profit where u didn't invest anything and thats the way out. If u don't invest reality and fairness then absolutely u are welcoming conflict as u may have seen now what's happening.

Police force is there to ensure law and order and the soldiers are there to ensure our boarders are well defensed with no intrusion.

Kifyatu

I am thrilled by the stunning contributions from all people who have partaken in this topic. I think we had a productive discussion with exception of a few palavers.

Kifyatu with all the peekaboos, yero's distaste of the hide and seek.... kui the linchpin..

Next, from the fecund minds of some of the greatest guys in JF to the callous minds of folks like KUBWA JINGA and Maziku Masunga Jr. .....I cannot help but believe that we have generally moved a step closer to being effective people...

To touch on the election itself, the fact that NEC and CCM has disrupted the vote is now well known. This election has continually proved that we are millions of steps behind as a nation with regards to political development.

Honestly, most of the time I don't feel happy being a Tanzanian because there is just nothing to show to the world....and these are some of those reasons I dont always boast of being a tanzanian when I travel abroad....that vital patriotism has been gone for years....and CCM is nothing but a cancerous tumor leading this country as some kingdom.....

Glad to hear from you.

How are you, JD and yero doing? Be careful there. I don't believe I am saying "be careful" to you, being in Tanzania - the heaven of peace.

I am sorry that drink offer didn't materialize. Things are still in flux there. I hope cooler heads prevail in this stalemate.

I will give you guys plenty of warning next time I am headed that way.

Later.

Hey, JD with his big words at it again.

I am glad to hear from you. I was getting worried since I didn't hear from you sooner. I just heard from kui but not from yero.

I feel like I know you guys.

Thank you all for a worthy debate. I am sure we will interact again.

See, two (three, four, or more) can disagree without being disagreeable.

Thank you...but you shouldn't worry...I was busy offering support to our IT guys apprehended by CCM to obtain bail. As you know they were caught doing nothing but tallying votes.....really?? this country is so ridiculous....I just hope one day we scrap peace....

Yea, I am following it. Are your guys out on bail now?

Geez, the whole thing seems like a really bad dream.

God speed, JD.

I hate this country, I hate Kikwete, watanzania wengi ni wajinga, majuha na wa.pumbavu. I wish I was born in some other countries. CCM should just return back to one party state, there is no point of having multipartism when CCM is not willing to leave power peacefully.

What they have done in election in Zanzibar and Mainland ni kiini macho tu nothing else.

May be CCM cannot be removed from power through the ballot box!!!, we need a revolution, we don't need any more elections. We need to be like Egyptians.
