I knew since the beginning that BVR is going to have some problems. It could be a deliberate attempt by NEC to try to steal some votes or simply technical problems that experts in NEC cannot solve.
We have to understand that our NEC's BVR is not perfect or even close to perfect. We have to make sure that we're around the polling stations to protect our votes. By being around, our agents will feel safe and can immediately report to us about any evil attempts to rig the votes. By going home we are giving rooms for such acts.
I still believe though that if many of us turn out to vote on Sunday in large numbers, Lowassa will win and become the fifth President because the odds are in our favour.
I'll demur with you on your extenuation of our public procurement debacle....from issues like 10% (I know it's a cliche) to non-performance of due diligence...that's why the gov is purchasing a lot of spurious, used and old products...I bet those BVR equipments are not new...
NEC's covert plan is not a tough nut to crack....that's the final straw....however CDM should continue to play hardball with them.... When the going gets tough, the tough get going....
I anticipate a tough and a rough game from a kakistocracy...by the way, to think that the whole process will be smooth as silk will be too oneiric....
