This election is not about Lowassa, It is about us

I think now these emotions are too deep and if we decide such character there is no going back so let's sit on the table and discuss what should we do before we run into war that we may regret of.

Kifyatu

I am thrilled by the stunning contributions from all people who have partaken in this topic. I think we had a productive discussion with exception of a few palavers.

Kifyatu with all the peekaboos, yero's distaste of the hide and seek.... kui the linchpin..

Next, from the fecund minds of some of the greatest guys in JF to the callous minds of folks like KUBWA JINGA and Maziku Masunga Jr. .....I cannot help but believe that we have generally moved a step closer to being effective people...

To touch on the election itself, the fact that NEC and CCM has disrupted the vote is now well known. This election has continually proved that we are millions of steps behind as a nation with regards to political development.

Honestly, most of the time I don't feel happy being a Tanzanian because there is just nothing to show to the world....and these are some of those reasons I dont always boast of being a tanzanian when I travel abroad....that vital patriotism has been gone for years....and CCM is nothing but a cancerous tumor leading this country as some kingdom.....

These guys are used to play us nasty games and get away with it. They changed the rules of the game in the middle of it and incessantly preach about peace heavily to hide their rigging of votes!!!

We should stand up and say enough is enough. Form groups throughout the country and start slowly to fight for our country and cause great damage to this government. Even if it take years, there will be progress. For example, blowing up of that parliament when opposition MPs are out or simply set CCM's offices on fire etc. We have to send a message to Magufuli that we never chose him!!!!

I think we should use softer methods:

For instance, we can appeal to the international community for TZ to be sanctioned by the EU and UN.... Or the Donors to block the flow of their foreign aid to TZ until certain conditions are met.....

The whole country should have peaceful protests to condemn the results announced by NEC...and put clear our demands....when that protest gets violent, that's something else.....

UKAWA should then gather all the evidences and make a case to the ICC and all the accused to stand trial at the Hague.....That will send a message to the whole world.....

Let's not turn our homes into battle fields cause there are million reasons to keep peace.

I'm not pro violence but there is no peace without justice...peace is earned, it is never given....when you sow seeds for conflicts you don't reap peace instead you reap what you sow....

CCM have made it clear that they are willing to give you MPs but not Presidency, and so CDM can win the top post but with relatively fewer MPs and that's a problem.....the idea that it is CCM which tend to decide the leaders for us is an ingredient for conflicts.....

Sure comrade I agree with you.

I wish most people can understand this and find a logic behind what you wrote, because that's the way all voters should think. Most think that they can separate Magufuli's supposedly efficiency from CCM's exploitative system and most go to the polling stations saying to themselves "naenda kumpigia Magufuli" but the truth is they are putting CCM on the driving seat. Unknowingly they are leading this country onto the same wasteful road of poverty. May the Lord Have Merci on Us because we are heading to 'poverty as usual' now that CCM (not Magufuli) is winning.

People with objective minds are so rare in this country...Tanzanians are used to poverty, they have been led to believe that God is the one to blame for their impoverishment.....and that government has nothing to do with their welfare.....

Kwenda zako huko.!!! If you are blindly to follow your party (CHADEMA, spineless democrats) and you cannot make rational concessions when your party screws up; you aren't analytical, you are just a sheep. Since so many people vote blindly for their party, our country makes a lot of errors. And you are among of them.

Anyone who can't admit that Lowassa has been caught in dozens of lies (even since he left his position at CCM) or that can't admit that John Magufuli has flip flopped on almost every policy position to get into the office is just a blind party member, too busy pointing fingers to admit when their side screws up. I agree that, there were problems with every candidate. But the question was, "Which one can do the best job.??". My fellow citizens have an answer to this question.

But when you start off looking at political parties like football teams (mine is good, the others are bad) you are blinding yourself to facts and not making rational arguments.

As I said, your last comment above proved my point and I'm finished with this conversation. You clearly want to love your party, hate the CCM and not looking at politics as a competition of ideas instead of personalities. You are not better than the Mwanahalisi blowhards.

Your argument hold true for CCM than CDM....CCM is preying on tanzanians' ignorance and destitution in the sense that they can't hold their government accountable.....

This is not about screwing up...this is more about self-determination on the side of many tanzanians, ability of people to understand the role of the government and signifance of democracy.....

You only excel in the job when you're working in the best environment which is absent in this case...don't be myopic, try look at this country through a thin lense and you'll see what I'm seeing.....

You are entitled to your opinions though, but the facts on the ground remain unchanged...this was not a party choice but a choice of path for the country, and I'm really disappointed that we are being forced to pursue the same ideas that have brought us here and expect different results.....

Thank you...but you shouldn't worry...I was busy offering support to our IT guys apprehended by CCM to obtain bail. As you know they were caught doing nothing but tallying votes.....really?? this country is so ridiculous....I just hope one day we scrap peace....

Jack Daniel's good for you for offering support, that's why you've been MIA.

So CCM is supposedly bringing change?!, the only changes I see from them is changing a country into a big JOKE!

Kaka ww ni Socrates not a yes sir no sir man. Big up

every election is about somebody, thats why even ACT-Wazalendo received a tally of 98,546 votes. The issue is with UKAWA supported who made and declare this election is war against CCM. Little do they know that CCM is not their problem but their representatives and personal determination (refer to Arusha Declaration);
