Towards Success: The Triangle of Political Victory

Nadhani unanifanya niende mbele zaidi...

This is great MM. If you do not mind Mzee please tell us what should be done to close the missing link? I mean what should CHADEMA do to strenghten the weak base?

......duuhh.......aisee........it is very expensive kukwepa mambo ya msingi na ya ukweli.........

Mwanakijiji mimi sina kipingamizi na wewe hapo! Umechambua vyema na nimekuelewa vizuri but kuna issue moja hapo inanitatiza.

Unaposema CDM ina weak administrative structure una maana gani? Umesema wana-depend ktk personality ya watu ila kwa upeo wangu nadhani hili sio tatizo sababu personality is what makes politicians succesful..

Ktk political base umesema CDM wapo very strong, je we hudhani kuwa hii personality administrative structure imefanikiwa ktk hili?

I find it interesting to chip in comments.
Let me reiterate that no matter how best is the triangle, if some ‘spicy' are missing the whole structure may not work as intended.

Secondly, I admit that CCM had the components of triangle at the inceptions. Unfortunate corruption, egoism and nepotism are taking down the part.

I will comment on Chadema because of its role as official opposition party which incase of unforeseen eventuality the public expect it to sit behind the wheel. Moreover like any other party CDM has no immunity to criticism.

Over the years CDM has gain momentum with all elements of triangle. I have no doubt on the base which is invigorated and energized by any political standard. Though the philosophy is not well elucidated, suffices to say it is there and has a room to be publicized.
The main problem is on administration structure and infrastructure which has subjected the organization to unnecessary reprehensive.

I should say though, the personalities forming the admin is strong embodying charismatic and elite group the likes of Tundu Lissu, Zitto, Mdee, Mbowe, Slaa, Mnyika etc, and I have enomous respect to those who work behind the scene, Kitila Mkumbo et al. However the cohesiveness of the group is in question, as we have often seen unpleasant modus operandi and trivial contradictions which could be resolved amicably.

CDM lacks effective communication within the party and now extended to political base. The reason could be lack of pundits and strategists.
CDM has lost the culture of communication with the base and public as whole. May be the admin structure is confused or in shamble therefore no one knows his or her responsibilities.

Two weeks ago when news from Arusha surfaced I pleaded to CDM to look the issue in wider prism because the ‘muafaka' will have ramifications. My point wasn't to reject it but to alert the CDM to communicate as an organization. I said openly guys heads up!

Now Lema is dissociating from muafaka, party members point finger to each other, allegations of bribery are brewing up and the base is totally demoralized. At this moment when the party is struggling to establish itself nationwide, this is a big setback.

If the admin would have worked as a functional team, the matter would have been solved peacefully.
Ok! The damage has been done what's next? I thought there could be the so called damage control; guess what, nothing so far!

As a result of disorganized administration CDM lacks the following:
1. Unidirectional 2. Collective decisions 3. Immediate reaction to news and events 4. Damage control strategy

Unless something is done, the history will repeat (NCCR, CUF)

Once again, don't take my opinion as an offense.

nimekuwekea maneno gani mdomoni? sina haja ya kupotosha mtu! Nimekukejeli wapi? Wewe ulipoandika uliandika kwa namna gani?
By the way, nilijua uta-comment hapo nulipo-highligh pekundu. Great Wall ilijengwa in2 centuries BC. At that time walikuwa wamesha-invent printing!! anyway...i guess nimeweka maneno mdomoni kwako na jazba...

Nadhani unanifanya niende mbele zaidi...

Whatever that means....but my side of the argument extends to the need of no political parties in a country trying to develop maana in reality hamna cha kuwatofautisha opinions. Which in one sense cld have made Nyerere's single party system sound reasonable, but we know how he refused differing opinions which led to the current problem of a very powerful mwenyekiti wa chama na raisi.
anyway...i was hoping unge-respond kwenye ile post nyingine.

Mwanakijiji hebu nijibu post yangu hapo juu!

...that is exactly what you are doing.........duuh!

yea...my education hasn't helped and am just an ignorant guy accepting all information w/out filtering it through!
It wld be interesting to know how many political parties in Africa have come to power through their superior ideologies and sera!!
