".....It's taken seven years and six months and the passing of a great Tanzanian for me to meet the man who led the team of doctors who saved my life on 7 Sept. 2017.
Dr. (now Prof.) Ulisubisya Mpoki, then Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, was in Dodoma on govt business that fateful day.
Upon hearing that a prominent opposition MP had been gunned down and rushed to the Dodoma General Hospital, Dr. Mpoki - a trained anaesthetist, took over leadership of the emergency doctors and saw to it that my life was saved and I was stabilized sufficiently to be flown to Nairobi Hospital for further specialised treatment.
Today, at the residence of the late Prof. Phil Mikol Sarungi, another great doctor and public servant, I finally got to meet the man.
Prof. Mpoki is a very sensitive man. Having seen my broken and mutilated body from the surgical table seven years ago, he broke into tears upon seeing me strutting about at Prof. Sarungi's residence.
What a good man. What an honour and a privilege to have been under his professional care...."

Bila shaka Dr Ulisubisya Mpoki machozi yanamtoka kumuona jamaa yu hai na anatembea kwa sbb hali aliyokuwa nayo siku anampa huduma ya kwanza, kibinadamu hakuwa mtu wa kupona, kuwa hai na kutembea tena...
Machozi ya Dr Mpoki ni ishara ya kumpa utukufu Mungu Yehova ambaye ni yeye peke yake ndiye awezaye kuua na kuhuisha tena....
Hata kama wanadamu waovu watataka ufe, kama Mungu Yehova hajataka ufe, basi juhudi na jitihada za hawa watu wabaya na waovu ni kazi bure tu kwao...!
Sifa, heshima na utukufu ni kwa Mungu baba yetu aliye juu mbinguni ktk Jina la Yesu Kristo. Ameeen🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
