Anashangilia nini mbona sielewi?

acha ushabiki kilaza mkubwa wewe!!

INSTITUTIONAL EXAMINATION PERFORMANCE QUALIFICATION-WISE MODULES E AND F MAY 2013

1.0 Introduction
Examination performance of graduates from the institutions of higher learning sitting for the final stage examinations has been analyzed for purposes of:

  • Determining how these graduates from the institutions of higher learning perform in the final stage examinations
  • Establishing the number of graduates who register for the Board examinations from the institutions that are enjoying exemptions from the Board's examinations.

Two approaches have been used to evaluate the institutional performance. The first approach shows the pass rate of the graduates attempting the examinations within an institution (Number of graduates passing against those registered in that institution). The second approach shows institutional pass rates against the overall passing candidates in that module – refer to Tables I & II attached.

2.0 Examination Performance within an institution

2.1 Performance in Module E
Table I attached herewith shows that the performance of graduates of eight institutions, namely University of Dar es Salaam, Mzumbe University, Institute of Accountancy Arusha, Zanzibar University, Zanzibar Institute of Financial Administration, Moshi Cooperative College of Cooperative and Business Studies, Dodoma University and Stephano Moshi Memorial University have performed relatively well, their pass rates being above overall pass rate of 31.3%. On the other hand, the following four institutions have a good number of candidates who have registered and sat for Module E examinations as follows: Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (18.8%), Institute of Finance Management (16.8%), University of Dar es Salaam (12.6%) and Mzumbe University (8.6%). These institutions have registered about 56.8% of total candidate sitting for Module E.

University of Arusha did not register and candidate in May 2013 examination session while Mt. Meru University did not produce any passing candidate during the May 2013 examination session.

2.2 Performance in Module F
Table II attached herewith shows that performance of graduates from three institutions (with a good number of graduates who sat for the examinations), namely University of Dar es Salaam, Mzumbe University, Institute of Finance Management, Moshi University College of Cooperative and Business Studies and Institute of Accountancy Arusha have relatively performed well in the final stage Module F examinations.

On the other hand, Zanzibar Institute of Financial Management and Mt. Meru University had a few number of candidates but all of them passed the examinations.

Those who have gone through NBAA route have also performed relatively well by having 30.2% passing out of 106 candidates who sat.

University of Arusha did not have any candidate sitting for the final stage Module F this session.

3.0 Comparison amongst Institutions (Overall)

3.1 Performance in Module E
In comparing the institutional performance against the overall number of candidates passing Module E, the University of Dar es Salaam has a higher pass rate of 20.2% candidates passing compared with other institutions. Other institutions which have performed relatively well include Institute of Finance Management (16.1%), Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (15.0%), Institute of Accountancy Arusha (9.2%) and MUCCoBS (8.0%).

3.2 Performance in Module F
The overall performance at the final stage Module F shows that the University of Dar es Salaam has performed well in the Final Stage Module F whereby it has been able to produce 112 (24.3%) candidates passing Module F. Other institutions performing relatively well are Institute of Finance of Finance Management 90 (19.5%), Tanzania Institute of Accountancy 44 (9.5%) and Mzumbe University with 39 (8.5%) candidates passing Module F.

Read behind data mkuu! otherwise utaonekana na wewe ndio walewale. Wasaidie na wenzako hapo juu kuwa nanukuu "On the other hand, the following four institutions have a good number of candidates who have registered and sat for Module E examinations as follows: Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (18.8%), Institute of Finance Management (16.8%), University of Dar es Salaam (12.6%) and Mzumbe University (8.6%).

Wametesa nini sasa? Mivumbi iko pale pale. Vikwapa vipo pale pale. Adha zote zipo pale pale.
