Huu mpago wa belt and roads jiandaeni kiskolojia kuusahau, na hivi Uhuru kakurupuka kwenda kwa Trump wakati Trump ana chafuana na mchina, msahau tu.

marais wengi wa afrika wamefika kule taryari...it depends on the ties between china and the african country...in kenya, we have the sgr....the president must be there to witness those deals...in tz, there's nothing of importance they are doing with China at the moment...
Tanzania after along time of negotiation finally signed a $10bn Build operate. Transfer deal with China for bagamoyo.- That is twice as big as Kenya SGR interms of cost. On top of that, The millitary of China will conduct training and supply of Equipment to TPDF.
As you can see, JPM sends his Provincial Commissioner to china, Not even his VP,Prime Minister or Foreign Affairs Minister..
Uhuru the president will be sitting on around table with Xi Jinping and A provincial commisioner of Tanzania who is getting better deals than him ;D

yeah but that deal is far from reality...the loans haven't even been availed...theres is not set date for commencement of construction...this is actually going to take a while plus I dont think Tanzania can afford a 10 billion dollar loan as they are also building a railway...in other words, this project will take almost a decade before it materializes,...those are just MoUs...nothing of significance...but on the other hand, our railway has already reached Nairobi...we are talking about tangible deals here..not deals that are merely on paper and there is a very high chance that they are not going to materialize...

Amekwenda kwenye hafla ya 2018 FOCAC, japo pia kama ilivyo kawaida, atakua na vikao vya pembeni vya kutengeneza deals kali kali.
Mada zitakazojadiliwa huko ni pamoja na
Chinaโ€™s Belt and Road Initiative
The United Nationsโ€™ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
The African Unionโ€™s Agenda 2063
Development strategies of individual African countries

President Uhuru Kenyatta left the country for Beijing where he is scheduled to attend the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
The plane carrying the Head of State and his delegation departed Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after 7pm on Friday.

Leader of Majority in Parliament Aden Duale, Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua and Chief of Defence Forces General Samson Mwathethe were at the airport to see off the President.

Besides the FOCAC Summit, President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to hold bilateral talks with his host, President Xi Jinping.

The meeting will focus on trade, infrastructure, investments, education and technology which are common areas of interest for both Kenya and China.

The President travels to the Chinese capital a day after meeting with British Prime Minister Theresa May in Nairobi and shortly after he returned from a historic meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington DC.

While addressing a joint press conference with PM Theresa May in Nairobi on Thursday, President Uhuru Kenyatta said Kenya will follow realistic cooperation with all global partners.

He added that Kenya and the Britain have reciprocal interests and especially those that ensure the lives of Kenyans are improved.

The goal of the 2018 FOCAC meeting is the promotion of economic and trade cooperation between China and African economies.

It also seeks to synergise Chinaโ€™s Belt and Road Initiative, the United Nationsโ€™ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the African Unionโ€™s Agenda 2063, and the development strategies of individual African countries.

Build Operate Transfer Project is Not A loan. Poor negotiators are the ones who get loans. BoT is a sort of differed FDI which accrues when the period of BoT ends or is renogotiated.
In actual sense, Dar Provincial commisioner is making better deals than Uhuru. What a shame

marais wengi wa afrika wamefika kule tayari...it depends on the ties between china and the african country...in kenya, we have the sgr and many other projects we are cooperating with China such as the Nairobi Global Business Centre and Ngara real estate projects....the president must be present to witness such deals being signed...as for tz, there's nothing of significance they are doing with China at the moment...

Huko kuna market kubwa.
Soma vizuri acha wivu kijana
