Tz will continue to get money inform of Custom Duties at the port. that lease for Bagamoyo will run for 99 years... (we will all be dead by then) . FYI China merchant holding group is the one that will aquire the port. It also owns a number of ports around the world using the same model. Even the port in Srilanka that chinese took over.. guess what? Its for 99yrs lease then "they give it back" ... but the company is majority govt owned, it is the world leading container producer and owns one of the biggest shipping fleets..they plan to use these ports they own to reduce service chages charged by independent ports(this will mean revenue loss at the ports they own bcoz they will subsidize charges for their own ships) So that they can get maximum profits from the shipping... they will make sure they dont recoupe their $10B in those 99 years so they can continue using the port...
