every shipping company pays service charge to the port they call, so that all those containers can be uploade/offloaded... but in Bagamoyo's case, the shipping line and the port belong to the same guy...the workers will be more inerested in their salaries....
Alafu kumbuka Bagamoyo port will mainly be a transhipment port.. where big ships bring in bulk goods from China then smaller ships subdivide the cargo and ship it to other smaller ports around the region... There wont be any storage fee for these containers since they will be waiting to be shipped out by the same company... saving them enormous costs! Hapo china amekula dili nzuri sana!
