Rais wa Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta amemjia juu Naibu wake, William Ruto kuelekea Uchaguzi Mkuu akisema kama ameshindwa kufanya akiwa na nafasi ya juu Serikalini ataweza vipi kwa mara nyingine anapoomba nafasi ya Urais

Kenyatta akizungumza katika Sherehe za Ushirika amesema: “Mimi nasikitika kuona watu wengine wakilia ng’we ng’we, mtu amepewa kazi na badala ya kufanya ni mdomo ati tutafanya kazi, kwa nini haukufanya wakati ulikuwa na nafasi? Watu waache upuzi.”

Wawili hao wamekuwa hawana uhusiano mzuri kwa muda mrefu, kwa sasa Ruto anawania Urais.

Aidha, Kenyatta alimpongeza Waziri wa Kilimo, Peter Munya kwa kufanya kazi nzuri ndani ya miaka mitatu wakati Ruto alikuwa hapo kwa miaka nane na hakuna cha maana kilichofanyika.

Kenyans have elicited mixed reactions after President Uhuru Kenyatta indirectly launched an attack against his deputy, William Ruto ahead of the upcoming general elections.

While speaking at Ushirika celebrations, the head of state tore the Deputy President William Ruto over his 2022 Promises. Uhuru cited that some people are yapping all through promising what they will do when they take over the government. He said that why didn't they do it when they were in government.

Kenyatta continued with his indirect attacks against Ruto after he hailed the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Peter Munya for doing an exemplary job in the Ministry for only three years. He said that others ( Ruto) had been in the same ministry for eight years but they did nothing.

Kenyans have responded to remarks from President Kenyatta, some defending the Second in Command citing that, the Deputy President has no power to execute most of the duties.

It will be very shameful for Uhuru Kenyatta if Ruto wins the presidency! His negative comments on his Deputy are too undiplomatic!! Kenyatta ameshasahau jinsi Ruto alipambana kumpigia kampeni na sasa anamlipa mateke ya punda!! This can only make sense for kenyan's "nyang'au" mentality!
