Updated 2024 GDP Projections. Major Economies in the Eastern Africa

Nyuzi kama hizi huwa zinanifurahisha sana. Jirani zetu huwa wana allergy kali sana ya takwimu. Sanasana takwimu ambazo haziendelezi propaganda zao kwamba wao ni dona kantri na uchumi wao ndio imara kabisa barani Afrika.

GDP projections are by IMF, not Kenya.
Back in April we rejected IMF economic growth estimate do you know why ? and what happened thereafter ?
 
2024 right? Then at GDP of $65-70 bln Kenya will have to grow at over 15%! The funny thing at the moment Kenya is finding it difficult to even attain 5 % growth!
True Kenya's GDP is $68B imedrop from $70B

Don't you remember that almost 80% of Kenya and Ethiopia economic is for the fewer (multinationals companies)?
What about populations and land coverage?
What about building of infrastructures and existence of natural resources?
What if those countries not depending on donors and use their resources to raise the GDP,which among those countries as per IMF could afford to maintain its GDP?

The average Kenyan worker earns twice as much as a Tanzanian, 4 times as much as an Ethiopian.
So, where did you hear the economy is for the few?

Kenya is doing just fine. Even without minerals, we are the manufacturing hub of the region, financial hub, aviation hub, IT hub, service hub etc.
And growing faster in these fields.
