Tanzania Air Force Command - Wikipedia
Anyway, to answer some of the questions here..... No advanced first-world country will ever sell their main Stealth fighters to a 3rd world country!!!!! especially if that countrieshas not made any advancements in military technologies in research and development .... China cannot and will never sell something like J-20 to Tanzania in the next 2 decades...infact it will not sell it to anyone
China Rules Out Selling its J-20 Fifth Generation Jet on Global Market
China Rules Out Selling its J-20 Fifth Generation Jet on Global Market
Besides that, even if they were to sell, a country like Tz could never afford....Onejet initial price is $110Million.... remember additional cost in flying these birds can costs yo as much as $25,000 per hour (Every time you fly it for more than 4hours or you fly 4 of them for one hour is like buying a new Lamborghini ) You are better off buying an j-17 or SU-30 or SU-35 which cost around $30-$40Million
Chengdu J-20 - Wikipedia
there are
only 4 j-20 built plus 8 prototypes for testing....So even the chinies military itself has not begun using them
The J-31 which has been talked about here is also a stealth multirole fighter is still a prototype concept....
only two such planes have been build...it will first be introduced in 2019 and even then it will probably take like 10-15 years before its fully ready for export market outside china
Shenyang J-31 - Wikipedia
The SU-35 4Gen fighter has only been exported to china, Algeria is currently in the testing stage, It wants to buy 9 at a coast of 900Million dollars...this will include trainers, spare parts, training among other things...
the SU-30 is a supermanuvarable 4Gen fighter capable of many things is the one that is in reach for many economies ....Uganda purchased 6 of them in 2012 at a total cost of aroung $600M
Sukhoi Su-30 - Wikipedia But Tanzania doesnot have them and has not ordered any.
Remember many countries are interested in many fighter jets, but bieng interested and actually buying are two very distinct things... Even if you had the money in cash right now and you wanted to buyone...It will take you like 4 years before you start receiving them, especially if you havent been using a plane of that platform before.... You will need to be trained or months first, then the manufacturing plant will start production of your orders, then you will need to build the necessary infrastructure (like hangers, new radars, airbase lights)...Inthis case the Su-30 is a russian technology,
so if you were on the verge of buying russian planes, it would have bien the russians who would have upgraded your ngerengere airbase and not the CHinies.... So just rule out buying of any Russian jets for the upgraged airbase.
And since we have already ruled out the chinies J-20 or J-31......If Tz were to buy any fighter, the most likely candidate would be the Chines/Pakistani built J-17 which Nigeria is also interested in buying and has already ordered three units.

The report said Fiery Cross was capable of housing a runway
about 3,000 meters, well within the parameters of Chinese air force runways.
