A senior leader of the Palestinian group Hamas has been arrested in the occupied West Bank following an Israeli night raid of his home, according to news reports.
A video clip posted by Al Jazeera Arabic in the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, showed Adnan Hamarsheh sitting on a wheelchair and being hauled into an armoured vehicle by several heavily armed members of the Israeli force.
