Hiyo ni kweli kabisaMe nijuavyo madereva huchachawa tu haswa gari za manual gear tu. Automatic labda dereva aliamua kujimaliza mwenyewe.. but gari kunasa ati sumaku blah blah hakuna kila chombo kinatengezewa kwa usalama wa wote sio silaha ile.

This is likely a Venturi effect. As you got close to the train, the air velocity (locally) was much higher. The air right next to the train is traveling at approximately the same speed as the train (no-slip boundary condition). As the air velocity goes up, the local static pressure goes down (conservation of energy). The lower static pressure near the train was likely pulling you in. This is basically the same principle that's used to suction fluid up in eductors.
