Our Tanzaphilia, as well as the rest of the world dissipated loong time ago, these days not many Kenyans, except ofcos those on Jf bother that much about Tanzania.

That 1960s phenomenon was more of a Nyerere-mania than Tanzaphillia, imho.

Magufuli? Ha! Kenyans fed up with the corruption in the country only admire him for his anti- corruption stance, but him as a person....naah.

Nyerere was young, brilliant, eloquent, humble, charming and very charismatic. (He was also handsome, according to them ladies).
His world view, and his egaliterian economic ideas earned him some admiration from across the world, even among the capitalist countries then.

So Magu is no Nyerere.

Yes, I would tell PLO that. Majority of Kenyans do not share his views on Magu.
Magu is committed to slaying the monster that is corruption, Kenyans admire him only for that.

But everything else regarding him or his leadership style...there's nothing novel or exemplary worth writing about to make him an obsession among Kenyans.
Kagame probably enjoys much more popularity among Kenyans than Magu.

I follow the president on twitter and I hav never come across a post like that. U must either have been hallucinating or whatever u read was from a satirical website.

Kenyans do not favor that dictatorship- like and the impulsive leadrrship style of the Padlocks.
