I was about to be convinced by your line of argument but only to learn it's nothing but someone grooping in the dark. Can you pose for a second and ask yourself where are the Industries left behind by Mwalimu Nyerere! who killed them? Was ATL in the politics by the time when those things were happening?
JK left a booming economy and of course with real political fights between the government and opposition on matters related to minerals, natural gas , corruption etc. Why such a sudden turn of tables??
Instead of relying on cheap arguments as well as finding scape goats, let us examine the situation critically. How is the investment environment in Tanzania as of now, is the tax regime predictable? do we have a convincing rule of law that can attract foreign financial assistance as it used to be in the past?. I hope sincere answers to the above raised issues can demonstrate the factors that are bedevelling our economy.
