Israel is describing the upcoming ground operation as "limited" , there's a reason for this :

By saying it's limited, they can test the ground, and if they get smacked, they will pull out and claim that "we achieved our goals in dismantling a specific unit/infrastructure/anything".

If they find that the initial incursion is successful, they will expand it by adding new "goals", as long as needed.

There's no limited operation, they're just doing pre-emptive damage control in the narrative, to not set the grand goal of "eliminating Hezbollah".

Mambo ya vita ya ardhini kinachotofautisha ni mtizamo wa watawala na wananchi kuhusu kifo.

Kwenye nchi za Ulaya na Marekani hawapendi watu wao wauawe. Hivyo kadri wanavyokufa ndiyo kukataa vita kunavyokuwa kukubwa.
