Do u also have a problem with the titles confered to your president (His EXCELLENCY)? The commanders in your defence forces, the speaker of your parliament, the mayors of your cities......Tanzanians dont speak English, I forgot!

Nothing at all... but then again what's wrong with speaking English? Am sure they have their native languages which they cherish just as much. You'd wish it was swahili but it's not! We chose Arabic way they chose English way but the point is neither is native
 
Kiswahili is a Bantu language my friend. We chose the BANTU way.
Swahili vocabulary is very much Bantu and a bit of arabic, portuguese, english e.t.c. But MAINLY BANTU.

Swahili is not a bantu language my friend but a comulgation of bantu and arabic. Please Dont mak that mistake again.
The point is, whats wrong with pure bantu dialects? Let's use one of those if we want native not some ligua chotara

But that is if the given nation's population is homogenious enough.....in terms of cultural practices, religion, language and indeed if the country has no need interacting with the outside world. And by the outside world I am not just referring to the countries across the seas, but the immediate neighboring countries, if the given language is broadly understood in those other places as well.

English would indeed not be necessary if the local language is sufficiently rich in vocabularies necessary to confer the technical knowledge and skills in the various sciences and technologies such as Engineering and medicine; or arts; and the so called humanity topics such as Socialogy and Economics.
