I'm planning to study engineering this year but I'm stuck between a rock and hard place.
Kwa sasa hivi ninaishi France lakini nina mpango wa kurudi Tanzania baada ya miaka 3-4 na nimeona njia ya kukabiliana na maisha ya nyumbani ni kusoma kozi ambayo ninaweza kujiajiri au kuajiriwa na nimehamua nitasomea Engineering kwa sababu it appeals to me the most and i have a passion for it.
I have done research on a range of engineering fields. I have looked at syllabus, subjects and talked to student course advisors and I'm intrigued by seven disciplines.
1) Mechanical engineer.
2) Electronic/electrical engineering.
3) Computer engineer
4) Software engineer
5) Computer science
6) Chemical engineer
7) Process engineer
Tatizo langu lipo kwenye "employment and business opportunies" baada ya graduate.Nimeondoka Tanzania muda mrefu kidogo, therefore I'm behind the curve na imenifanya nishindwe kudecided nikozi ipi ni jiunge nayo.
However, I'm leaning towards Mechanical engineering due to its broadness, to have wider opportunities.
I know,it doesn't sound good to start looking at "career/market scenarios" especially if you want to be engineer. But,
i have seen here (France), graduates kama wa computer science, some of them are confused after their plans didn't materialized. They are doing menial jobs such as stacking shelves in supermarkets.
I'm trying to avoid the same path but i'm aware the worst thing is to corner myself into something which i wont be happy with.
WAKUU, Ninaomba msaada ni kozi gani, nikichangia na jitihada zangu inaweza kunisaidi Tanzania baada ya miaka 3-4?
It's my first time to post here...
Merci beaucoup (Thank you very much).
