Someone needs to put brakes on this professor. She is out of her depths.

Once one has secured rights to study and is performing well it is a legal landmine to pluck him out on flimsiest of excuses: he forged his way there!

Forgers will ALWAYS be there but one has to consider both ways: the academic enforcers who condoned the felonies first before exacting from the emaciated victims

The vocabularies contents in your column were nothing than arrogance, I somewhat appreciate the topic but,but since your signature elaborates your essence it not obligatory to make any criticism against you, for you wrote as if we're in language race.
 
The claims of incitement propagated by this administration amount not only to attacks against constitutional rights of freedom of expression and association but also takes this country a couple of decades back in bad governance just to protect its faltering legitimacy to govern.
 
If Donald Trump's insinuations were blurted by one or severally of our opposition I have no doubt our prejudiced police would have arraigned Trump and charge him with incitement charges.

However, the US not being a banana republic like ours has not overreacted just as our incompetent police force always does spraying a scattergun to all and sundry with an overdose of misplaced threats.

The Secret Service has acknowledged being aware of those incendiaries but has so far indicated no further step to be taken partially because Trump holds a privileged right to remark as he did! Equally intriguing, the contextualization of his remarks is very subjective, indeed. Either he meant the gun rights touting fiefdoms could kill the potential appointer in Hillary or the liberal justices of Supreme Court she will appoint or as later clarified by the Trump campaign team....that he was urging the gun touters to unite to weaken future assaults to the second amendment!

Substance always trumps style! You can shape the discourse in a manner that suits your temperament rendering the notion I am in position to dictate the content reduced to unsubstantiated claim.

It is true that good governance matters, but accountability measures may play a greater role for the system functioning, We lacked good measures for accountability in all areas, this has ended us in the grave we are in. Nyerere Policies and politics were good, you have to know that, there were many forces from outside than within which struggled to pool down his efforts, Nyerere will remain an error for capacitating the Tanzanians.

Then comes Magufuli administration while a couple of weeks in office seems lacking ideas of how to reform the government, and has so far been generating plenty of heat but very little substance.

Sweeteners may taste good on mouth but in the stomach are likely to foment gastric juice notorious for corroding the intestines. What this nation needs is reforms on good governance where accountability has been sacrificed at the altar of nepotism and sycophancy.

We need to restore pre-independence accountability if we are to reach where a president has no business to snatch duties and responsibilities of his juniors but to oversee them.

For start, he needs to acknowledge NEC ought to be fully investigated by an impartial commission how it conducted this election despite its numerous vain claims that the election was free, fair and transparent. We need a legislation to empower that commission but we also need the same commission to investigate thoroughly how this very partisan police interfered with the electoral process. We cannot face another election where UKAWA are adamant they were shortchanged and we have a president who may or may not be a squatter at our IKULU pretending to bribe us with "peremende" and expect for a different result.

On government splurge, we need concrete policies and pieces of legislation like capping staff emoluments based on a ratio of recurrent expenditure. What I have seen; so far, is a battle of nomenclatures which past administrations fought with equal zeal but lost because they never identified policy tools to do it.

mgano mzuro ni boss wangu kasema hii plate namba yake ikiisha halipi tena. Kisa ni ongezeko losilo na tija, kibaya zaidi wanaoongeza gharama hawajawahi kufanya biashara maisha yao wanalipiwa kila kitu na serekali!!

The problem facing this administration more than anything else is disrespecting our constitution. They have returned this country under one party rule overlooking the fact that lack of political space and competition of ideas explained the monumental failures we encountered under Nyerere leadership.

Well said but unfortunately your misplaced allegations remains unsubstantiated!

The catharsis of pent up anger, disappointment and frustrations against the stolen hopes and expectations by this administration can only be atoned if those hopes are restored and not just by claiming them in this discourse. So you got the diagnosis and its consequential remedies all upside down!
