ndugu kilichokusaidia ni kingereza ila huna hoja, watu wanakusoma tu ,wanatamani wakujibu ila wanaona watapoteza muda wao bure maana unaonekana unaandaa presentation, icho kingereza chako ni cha ujuaji, unajikuta unajua kucheza na lugha ila huna hoja.

We have always been long on applauding both the effort and intent but short in appraising the effectiveness of drastic measures declared and vigorously pursued by our post colonial administrations.

Nyerere was lauded for Azimio la Arusha but he later admitted the policy tools and directions were faulty, and economic decimation was all too much of an eyesore to all of us. The legacy of Nyerere administration will always be soiled by sheer levels of economic mismanagements despite genuine efforts to address causes and effects of our underdevelopment.

Mwinyi administration was accorded a red carpet reverence for the frantic effort to undo "Nyerereism" via the antithesis of the Zanzibar declaration but we all know better the indigenization of our economy took a back seat as the economy was placed in grubby hands of aliens.

Mkapa administration cemented official graft while its successive administration of Jakaya Kikwete approved it in all its pernicious forms.

Then comes Magufuli administration while a couple of weeks in office seems lacking ideas of how to reform the government, and has so far been generating plenty of heat but very little substance.

Sweeteners may taste good on mouth but in the stomach are likely to foment gastric juice notorious for corroding the intestines. What this nation needs is reforms on good governance where accountability has been sacrificed at the altar of nepotism and sycophancy.

We need to restore pre-independence accountability if we are to reach where a president has no business to snatch duties and responsibilities of his juniors but to oversee them.

For start, he needs to acknowledge NEC ought to be fully investigated by an impartial commission how it conducted this election despite its numerous vain claims that the election was free, fair and transparent. We need a legislation to empower that commission but we also need the same commission to investigate thoroughly how this very partisan police interfered with the electoral process. We cannot face another election where UKAWA are adamant they were shortchanged and we have a president who may or may not be a squatter at our IKULU pretending to bribe us with "peremende" and expect for a different result.

On government splurge, we need concrete policies and pieces of legislation like capping staff emoluments based on a ratio of recurrent expenditure. What I have seen; so far, is a battle of nomenclatures which past administrations fought with equal zeal but lost because they never identified policy tools to do it.
No wonder the team of gangstars were prepared to see policies in place within one season of Magufuli leadership.spit out your venoms and seatback soon the reasults will ashame all of haters and allies.

We have some of the best policies and plans which can be implemented. Some countries have copied our policies, have implemented them, and have worked. Some countries have gone to the extent of even borrowing some of our citizens to go and implement and supervise the policies they borrowed from us.

What we need is not more policies but effective implementation and follow-up. Heavy handedness is needed to stop the impunity in our country. I am still wondering why all those who are accused of stealing public funds are taken to court with their hands in their pockets as if we don't have funds to buy handcuffs.
salute KVM

The problem facing this administration more than anything else is disrespecting our constitution. They have returned this country under one party rule overlooking the fact that lack of political space and competition of ideas explained the monumental failures we encountered under Nyerere leadership.

It wasn't our needs for multiparty, it was a pressure from outside, I am not sure either the first political parties which were introduced in 1990's were real political parties or a kind of drama. although later CDM entered in this arena unknowingly and became a "resistant party". No one in "power" needs to be challenged. We will have multiparty when we will need them, but for now let we continue with our dramas

You are entitled to your opinion so do I!

The evidence on ground, so far, suggest you will very soon, not later, be eating a humble pie if not licking your wounds inflicted wilfully by the very people you are now pegging your hopes today!

Then you swear to uphold the multiparty constitution but at heart you are determined to ignore it?

That kind of leadership merits no respect of the society.

In Sengerema two public policy statements did shed more light on Magufuli doctrine.

One, the weak are on your own and the government will not rescue you on the hour of need. So when a calamity befalls you the government will look the other way! The notion of caring and kindlier government is now tossed in the air.

So when faced with hunger caused by floods or lack of rain or any reason beyond your ability like force Marjorie the poor should expect their government not to lift them up in the hour of desperate need.

If the government lifts not its heel to help the needy it is an opportunity for the opposition to fill in and show what it will do once in power. An opportunity squandered by ccm should be an opportunity gained to the opposition.

That's not picking on people, it's just to a person like you. If they're lying politicians, how do they keep getting elected?
Politicians get elected my foot, in a real sence this process is typical froudrant, ascew and totaly ambiguas preperd to suit the rulers.
The existing NEC is a smoke screen to fool the Tanzanian public and the world donners.
The only solution to this fiasco is a clean and fair CONSTITUTION to control the gorvanence of this
country.
The ruling president will be wrong if he does'nt
inatiate the constitution proceedure to form the base of good gorvanence!!
Otherwise whatever he will be fighting for will end up in smoke!!
Thanks Engr Rutta!!
Enjoy your day.

[emoji61] police,
[emoji61] jeshi na
[emoji63] usalama wa taifa
kuhalalisha matamko yake ya kidikteta.

Before they know it, they will come to the grasp and the inevitable conclusion of the reality that "Dikteta uchwara" is not an insult but a characterization of an individual who wilfully violates the constitution with impunity.

I like your ideas but this president is not an agent for change but for sustainability of the decadent status quo.

No money for hunger stricken citizens but plenty for police gear to intimidate the citizens for the purposes and intents of bowing them down unto constitutional malpractices. Strange but true
