Naked truth brother!

Dar R.C is like a drowning person who never stop thrashing around. So, it is another evidence that he is very vacuous, and he does not fathom his responsibilities.
We clearly need reforms in regional administration and making it more accountable to voters by replacing the in elective offices with elective ones.

First and foremost I acknowledge the retired associate Justice of court of appeal Damian Lubuva had a respectable career before he accepted the appointment of the Chair of the NEC where he had erased that impeccable laurel.

Yesterday he once again defended the NEC he has grossly mismanaged.

The truth is neither here no there: he cannot be a judge of his cause.

He spuriously claim NEC is ferociously independent save for commissioners' aberrant presidential appointment and the new constitution will redirect those appointing powers to an independent appointing commission.

What the good judge conveniently overlooks is the composition of that "KAMATI YA UTEUZI" will be composed by presidential appointees whose sole legitimacy is being chief justice or speaker of the house among the constitutional titular required.

Apart from those constitutional corruption there are other constitutional aberrations flowing from contaminating the executive with members of the Bench and the parliament.

Other commissioners in this "KAMATI YA UTEUZI". are unaccountable and can easily be traced to the ruling party as source of their legitimacy.

As I have noted in the past the pending new constitution is worse than the current one.

Partly because an ordinary law is being abused to upend the current constitutional status quo.

There this Dar R.C who strikes me as a joker.

Dar has many and serious problems but he picks a fight he knows fully well he will never win.....a fight against homosexuality which even organized religion with centuries of experience in invoking fear of "hell fire" has failed to straighten these fagging lovers.

It is a huge distraction from inner city problems like sewage soiling our dirty dilapidated roads and contaminating our clean water supplies let alone the rise of violent robberies.

Can someone tell him to reserve his energies to combat urban poverty rather reducing himself into another laughing stock?

Still on Dar R C who has opened many battles but he is yet to win even a single one todate!

One decoy which still ricochets in my mind is subsidizing teachers with free daladala ride. Despite a variety of consensus building meetings with bus owners, teachers still are not getting a preferential treatment.

There was a reincarnation battle against prostitution which gained some passing traction under another comedian R.C alias Makamba. This frontier seems either forgotten or simply abandoned.

Then there was politically correct exertions of Dar safi operation which died even before it took off.

Who will forget acrimonious yet incessant scuffles with Dar Mayor to control the bursaries there.

What about ukimwi voyeurism.......snooping us like guinea pigs just to establish who is hiding his true HIV status.

Loitering lockdown was thought will catapult his political stature to the dizzying heights but he was abruptly reminded his strategies were criminal in nature or simply unconstitutional.

I can see a burning ambition to elevate himself unto a national leader but sadly I must concede the talents are either still hidden or nonexistent altogether...

If I have to pen down on the back of a stamp the métier of this presidential appointee is: he is a bridge to nowhere.

I rarely pore on ccm meetings. Despite high expectations on the change of guard of honour which will be flagged off by manpower major overhauls but beyond that you will be very smart to manage your expectations because as one of their memorable crooner now deceased had left us with an important eulogy that ccm ni ile ile meaning without major constitutional overhauls the impending major manpower turnovers can be eye-catching but nothing else!

As the hype drowning our airspace gets louder of new dawn under the unsteady hands in ccm look on whether they will impose limits on those holding party positions from doubling as government employees in the name of politicians.

If there are no caps on holding more than one post then you need to ask yourself is this change you can believe when in fact it is business as usual!

Again on one hand ccm admits being unpopular but it continues to bag in on an election after an election therefore the gist of the matter remain are electoral verdicts really reflecting the will of voters or a demonstration of gratuitous rigging?

Hearsay in newspapers has a modicum of truth. One paper reports sugar barons are bankrolling ccm congress.
If it is true one has to carefully ponder how will the sugar barons recover their investment if the hopes and expectations of kickbacks in a form of massive official graft....any inkling to arraign official graft at the apex ought to disappear

JK in retrospective has pledged ccm to live forever and will not die. That in its own is something!

Ccm mulling over the possibilities of its own demise suggests it is on ICU save for NEC shepherded wanton rigging.

Outrageous decisions that I have never seen before. Actually, they will never achieve their intended purpose because they are very haphazard. They must stop making frivolously decisions through impulses.

That apart, he should learn how to act and decide reasonably without welcoming a room for prudent people to raise a red flag over him/ them. So duty of prudence is very important if you want to make a great deal.

Further, he must be versed with his responsibilities and duties rather than involving in frivolous actions.

True but is he really up to the challenge having been a one party puppet all his political life?

I am seldom in one page with Jk but his claim the Lowassa factor almost killed ccm is worthy some serious consideration that the only glue uniting ccm members is their access to state coffers.

A day ccm is sacked by voters in a real free and fair election expect all belly worshippers' stampede away from the sinking Titanic ccm ship.

There is no longer ideology unifying the party beyond munching our taxes and donor goodwill.

Hypocrites claim Bunge live is a wastrel but CCM LIVE is a primetime show not to be missed.....when we see our rulers are trapped in the past only themselves offer a tepid defence of innocence while caught with their grubby fingers dripping with bloodshed

Did you listened to Donald Trump' hyperbole? He claimed he alone can fix America's myriad of problems reminding me of UKAWA presidential candidate who revealed CCM never wins elections but steal them.

While we commend him for his candour we can't help but agonize and reminisce on misleading his ardent followers when he too like Trump made a demagogic claim he alone would end CCM rigging.

When he was rigged out, he ferociously claimed not only us but the whole world still know he won the presidency handedly!

Similar attitude amounting to narcissism is seen on Magufuli blind followers deluding themselves he is our redeemer while furnishing us with schmaltz instead of concrete evidence to that effect.

Earning 100% of cast votes speak less about the homogeneity within ccm both rank and file or the ruling clique but the bubbling oversurface trepidation of aiming to achieve the elusive deity.

Remember the often perceived as saint Nyerere never attained the 100% mark of cast votes save for the acclamation during TANU heydays.

As those who equate themselves with God will soon find out He is the jealous One and will never approve those who exalt themselves but will humble them in due season.

Enjoy the good times as they will not stand the test of time.

The Magufuli doctrine keeps on mutating in some dazzling manners.
On one hand he sees wanton abuses of office within the government necessitating a perpetual purge but the ruling party behind the appointments of the perceived culprits is irreproachable!

As far he is concerned, the CCM central committee goes nowhere for the buck stops with the appointees but not the appointer!

In other pun, the escapologist reasons in his heart as follows: the appointer never instructed the appointees to sin against the people of Tanzania.

Far more shocking, neither the ruling party as an institution of governance nor the system behind it requires any fixing but its consequential fruits ought to be chopped down with a sickle!

Part of the palpable hypocrisy of Magufuli as a person is to blame policy players and not policy makers.

If things go awry the party in power should take the blame and not only those implementing its policies.

Part of the explanation behind rooting for the central committee is to project an aura of "elusive unity" at the expense of public policy.

The vital question we need to continuously ask ourselves is: will no change of guard in the composition of membership of ccm in the central committee not impede meaningful reforms within the public sector?

Are they not the birds flying in the same flock?

Is garbage in not ALWAYS garbage out?
