I am impressed by the 2010 World Cup coverage here in the US...the in-depth analysis at half time and at the end of the games by football greats; the Online Coverage have all been outstanding. The 2002, 2006 World Cup and the 2008 Euro had mediocre coverage with analysts that do not know the game..Kudos to ESPN and Fox Soccer Channel (FSC). I like the end of the day analysis on FSC.

mexico looked extremely sharp in the final attacking third of the pitch. they can possess well too. they looked like they played at the same level as brazil or argentina. the only weakness i see is mexico is handling a very physical team and losing temper, but if they stay cool and play into their own strengths, they can make the quarter finals, and with some luck, go even further.

The French played like shyt!! Patrice Evra is no captain, he might have cried during the National Anthym but that was because he knew that they had to actually play the game. If you are playing one striker up top, why was Anelka constantly coming back for the ball or going to the wings?
