When I was a kid I had friends named Cancuna, Syria and another Caanan all of them girls. Syria is a lecturer now I don't know where the other two are. Caanan had a brother called Dallas...I also have a cousin brother named Canada...

All old names had meaning back them and most if you follow them, you could see their meanings from old language. If we choose names randomly they might just be names without meanings. Which is not so good, every name has to have a meaning

Recently many people in the world have been inspired to name their children after famous (some not so famous) places. Would you consider naming your children after a country, city, town, district or a village??

Out there in the world, I like the name Paris for a girl and London for a boy. In Africa, I think Liberia would be an excellent name for a girl while Ghana would be excellent for a boy.

In Tanzania, I like the name Tabora while Kigoma would make a good name for a boy.
