Waziri wa mambo ya ndani amesema kuwa haoni utata katika uraia wa Bashe (source; Mwananchi ya leo).
Swali; Bashe ana maamuzi gani?

Home Affairs minister Lawrence Masha
Home Affairs minister Lawrence Masha snappily said yesterday he saw no controversy in the status of the citizenship of embattled CCM cadre Hussein Bashe, until a few days ago one of the ruling party's Nzega parliamentary aspirants.
"This is not the right time for me to comment on the matter. However, if need arises for me to say something, I will surely do so," he added, in remarks to inquisitive journalists who had camped near his office in Dar es Salaam.
The minister was categorical that, for all he cared, the issue did not involve any controversy. But he would not be drawn into saying whether the documents tendered by Bashe to CCM as proof of his disputed Tanzanian nationality were genuine.
He also dismissed as "unfounded speculations" reports that his office or the Immigration Department – at the ministry – was working on the issue.
"There is nothing like that going on in my office," he said, stressing that he was not in a position to give any further details.
The party's powerful National Executive Committee recently sidelined Bashe in preference for Dr Hamis Kigwangala as its flag bearer in the race for the Nzega constituency parliamentary seat in the October General Election.
CCM Ideology and Publicity Secretary John Chiligati announced that the decision was reached after the party discovered that Bashe was not legally a Tanzanian but, rather, a Somali citizen.
The issue touched off heated debate in many parts of the country, with many people demanding clarification from the Immigration Department.
But, until minister Masha's curt remarks yesterday, no such clarification had been made although CCM Secretary General Yusuf Makamba is on record as having suggested that any documents out to prove that Bashe was a Tanzanian would likely be fake.
Bashe is understood to have furnished CCM with genuine-looking documents to clear the air over his nationality, but Makamba was not impressed.
Asked about Dr Kigwangala's reported arrest by Immigration officials, Masha said he had instructed his "subordinates" to work on the matter and keep him posted.
Controversy surrounding the nomination of the CCM candidate for the Nzega parliamentary seat began at the weekend after the party endorsed third-placed Dr Kigwangala instead of Bashe. The latter led the pack in the preferential votes, followed by outgoing Nzega legislator Lucas Selelii.
Bashe scooped 14,466 votes in the primaries to Selelii's 2,706 and Dr Kigwangala's 1,566.
The latter has since confirmed that he was arrested on Tuesday following raging allegations that he is a Burundi national, but insists he is innocent and has tendered all crucial documents to the Immigration Department to prove that he is a bona fide Tanzanian citizen.
