Being a VP in Tanzania in not synonimous with being president. The VP only acts on the president's discretionary assignments. So SSH has better chances of plausibly denouncing Magufuli's wrongful acts. To that extent SSH and JPM are not one. This is why others and I have been trying to support her via constructive criticisms.

I second you. To my perspective the "me and Magufuli we are the same" draw somelines on the continuity of vast ongoing development projects, working on the same shadow of Magufuli era on the socio-economic developments strategy and other Magufuli drives which in one way another leads to economic development

But she has some flexibility on changing other variables like right to fully expression, rule of law, rigt to choose and to be choosen all these comes with her perspective and Magufuli has nothing to do with these...

Mama doesn't know what exactly she is up to, I'm confident she wasn't prepared for the post(actually she wasn't prepared), that's the reason she makes so many mistakes in trying to be her predecessor.

This the same mama who in last year's election campaign, notably, in Songwe Region issued an outburst that "ccm will win the elections whether people vote for them or not", and actually her "prophecy" came to pass.

This mama being one of the disciples of the late dictator John Magufuli, in my opinion, I do not expect her to be worse or better than his predecessor because just like the late dictator, she has a lot at stake to fight for.

She is running the office at a time when the economy is in the doldrums amid the donors' apathy to bankroll her apparently repressive regime not to forget the low approval rating of the ccm led government.

We're keenly waiting to see how she will manage to sail in the rough seas against these seemingly insurmountable challenges facing her nascent regime.

In a nutshell, the trouble with our current president is her failure to grasp the lessons of history and be ready to learn and accept the truth that accompanies it without further delay.

She might believe she can swim like Magufuli and quack like him but she definitely will never be the reincarnation of him...no, not ever! Time cannot and wont allow that to happen.

A leader is best when people barely know she exists but when her work is done, her aim fulfilled, they people say: we did it ourselves! A good leader is a uniter and not a divider.

VP is a ceremonial position in this country, roles are played mostly by the POURT and the prime minister, that's why I'm convinced SSH is clueless in many areas of her leadership, don't take me wrong though.

Right now we ur seeing true colours of CCM opportunists, SSH has no power to determine anything in the government first of all she was unprepared she is too royal to the party structure and have no vision for this nation.......But the end of CCM is approaching en it will be outwit with not Chadema but Mass uprising if they continue with such political en economic blunders by next year a new transitional govt may be in place.....Time will tell

VP is a ceremonial position in this country, roles are played mostly by the POURT and the prime minister, that's why I'm convinced SSH is clueless in many areas of her leadership, don't take me wrong though.

Even though but she is fit enough to be a president, you can't act as a VP if you cant be a president. To my knowledge VP needs to have the same qualities as for the president.

If ccm didn't take this into their consideration then there are fucked up!
