Kama kawaida, Alshabaab wadhihirisha umwamba kwa KDF baada ya kushambulia Hotel maarufu mjini Kismayu ambao upo chini ya ulinzi wa jeshi dhahifu la Kenya KDF, shambulio lililosababisha vifo vya zaidi ya watu 30 wakiwemo wanahabari wa mataifa mbalimbali.

Pia imesababisha majeruhi zaidi ya 50 wakiwemo raia wa nchi tukufu ya Tanzania. Ikumbukwe kwamba hii sio Mara ya kwanza wala Mara ya pili kwa Alshabaab kuwadhalilisha KDF kwa kufanya mashambulizi vile wapendavyo kwa wakati wowote wanapojisikia, iwe ndani ya Kenya, katika kambi za KDF huko Somalia, au katika maeneo yaliyochini ya KDF huko Somalia.

Udhahifu wa KDF kushindwa kulinda maisha ya raia sio tu unazidi kuleta hofu na wasiwasi ndani ya Kenya, bali hats nje ya Kenya. Miaka minne iliyopita kikosi cha kulinda amani cha KDF kilichopelekwa South Sudan, kilishindwa kulinda raia jambo lililosababisha karibu MKUU wa UN kipindi hicho Bwana Ban Kin-Mon, kumfurusha kama wa Kenya aliyekabidhiwa jukumu hilo jambo lililosababisha wakenya kususa na kuondoa wanajeshi wao goigoi waliokuwa wakilipwa pesa na UN wakati hawajafikia viwango vya kuwa katika vikosi vya UN.

Last I checked Kismayu has had like 2 attacks since Kenya captured it.
Compared to Mogadishu where three months do not pass without an attack and I never see any of you claiming it is because Uganda, Burundi and Sierra Leone are weak

Point of correction, , Kismayu Town was made to be its own sector, The protection of the town was handed over to Ethiopian troops and given as Sector 6 .... Wachana na Joto la Jiwe anendelee kushobokea ujinga

KDF should have Gedo, Upper Juba and Middle Juba as well as Kismayo under its control. The Ethiopians have been doing a piss poor job in Gedo. Virtually all the Al Shabaab terrorists enter Kenya through Mandera and upper Wajir. Those IEDs blowing up are happening just adjacent to the Ethiopian sector.
You would think that Ethiopia, given how tightly they run their country, would replicate that in their sector

KDF should have Gedo, Upper Juba and Middle Juba as well as Kismayo under its control. The Ethiopians have been doing a piss poor job in Gedo. Virtually all the Al Shabaab terrorists enter Kenya through Mandera and upper Wajir. Those IEDs blowing up are happening just adjacent to the Ethiopian sector.
You would think that Ethiopia, given how tightly they run their country, would replicate that in their sector

Ethiopian troops have been leaving their sectors then coming back months later without notice.... A reason why Kenya decided to set up an ad-hoc FOB inside Sector 3 which was supposed to manned by Ethiopian troops because Ethiopia troops had left the area.....

You will notice that El-Adde is inside Sector 3 which is for Ethiopia contingent to secure, but Ethiopian troops having left it open for several months and being close to Kenya, Kenyan troops had to stretch her troops further to also cover that sector .
