A/ Registration fee and guarantee deposit
One-time registration fee: CHF 2,000 (student file, entrance
examinations, visits, etc).
Guarantee deposit for extra expenses: CHF 7,000 (reimbursed at
the end of the term following the students departure from the
school).
B/ Annual boarding and academic fees
The annual boarding and academic fees are CHF 94,500 payable in
two instalments:
the payment of CHF 63,000 for the first two terms is due no later
than 31 st May 2011
the payment of CHF 31,500 for the third term is due no later
than 31st January 2012.
Invoices for extra charges are sent three times per year and are
payable within 30 days of issue; details can be found on the Internet.
If an invoice is not contested within 30 days, it will be considered as
having been approved.
In the case of late payment of either school fees or extra charges,
Le Rosey reserves the right to contract a company of its choice to
undertake debt collection. The costs involved will be assumed by the
debtor concerned.
Other services charged separately:
annual charges for classes 1 and t in the International
Baccalaureate section: CHF 7,300 (covering administration,
diploma matriculation and CAS activity costs)
annual charges for classes 1 and T in the French Baccalaureate
section: CHF 1,800 (covering matriculation, external moderation
of mock exams, regular in-depth tests, project work, orals and
transport to examination centres)
annual charges for private music lessons (1 lesson per week):
CHF 3,400
annual charges for an extra-curricular language* as an integral
part of preparation for the International Baccalaureate (Cl.3
to T): CHF 5,400 (4 periods/week) and CHF 7,900 (6 periods/
week).
F/ Contractual financial conditions
If a student is expelled from the school or if a student is
withdrawn by the parents from the school during the course of
the term, both the fees for that term along with those for the
following term are payable to Le Rosey.
During the course of a term, should a student be withdrawn from
Le Rosey with the consent of both the parents and Le Rosey, only
fees for that term are due.
Le Rosey students may only carry upon their person the amount
of weekly pocket money assigned to them. Any other money
given to the student should be handed to the boarding house
director for safe keeping.
No valuable objects should be brought on campus. Le Rosey
is not responsible for providing students with insurance cover
against theft.
Personal effects are insured against fire and water damage up to
a maximum amount of CHF 15,000.
