Einstein, actually it is a known fact that Muhammad was unlettered (could not read nor write, illiterate in other words) He dictated the Qur'an to his companions who wrote it down on animal skins and tree barks, he would then quality check to see if they captured it right. He memorised all the chapters of whatever he dictated to his companions, this showed that he had excellent capacity to memorise, ofcourse this is common with the Muslims who are trained to memorised their scriptures so it is possible. In those days to be a good merchant you had to have excellent memory so you can capture your stocks and sales, this was quite common in his time as most folks couldn't read nor write ( but I'm sure they had good maths skills though)

During that time,All trade were operated By letters,Forexample A=1,B=2...
