Aliyekuwa Mkurugenzi Mkuu wa CIA, amesema kwamba anatarajia serikali ya Donald Trump, tofauti na Setikali ya Biden, itampa Netanyahu uhuru wote dhidi ya Iran, yaani Israel iamue wakati gani wa kuishambulia Iran, iishambulie Iran kwa namna gani, na ishambulie maeneo gani.
Ikumbukwe kuwa utawala wa Biden, ulifanya jitihada kubwa, kwanza kuizuia Israelilipize kisasi, uliposhindwa hilo, ukajitahidi sana kuizuia Israel isishambulie targets ambazo Israel ilipanga kushambulia. Kwenye hili utawala wa Biden ulifanikiwa, na hivyo kuondoa visima vya mafuta na kiwanda cha kurutubisha nuclear energy kwenye orodha ya targets za Israel.
Lakini kuingia kwa utawalawa Trump, unatazamiwa kuyaonfoa haya yote, na huenda kusababisha vita kamili kati ya Israel na Iran.

Donald Trump will as president give Benjamin Netanyahu a “blank check” in the Middle East, possibly opening the way for all-out war between Israel and Iran, the former CIA director and US defense secretary Leon Panetta predicted.
“With regards to the Middle East, I think he’s basically going to give Netanyahu a blank check,” Panetta said of Trump, who won the presidential election this week and will take office again in January.
“‘Whatever you do, whatever you want to do, whoever you want to go after, you have my blessing.’ I mean, he basically said that [before the election].”
