Fahamu kuhusu matumizi ya OverDrive (OD) kwenye gari automatic

Kwa ninavyofahamu mimi, overdrive ni kama walivyoeleza waliotangulia ila, kama iko off maana yake unaifanya gari iweze isiweze kwenda mpaka gear ya mwisho. Kama ina 7 speed itaishia 6. Kama ni 4 speed itaishia 3. Ukiangalia kweye gear lever yako kutegemea na gari lako utagundua yafuatayo. P R D 4 3 2 L AU 1. Mengine P R D 2 L AU

1. Ukiweka kwenye L means gari itakuwa kwenye gear ya 1 na haitaruka hapo. Hapo ni kama unavuta gari au unashuka mteremko mkali sana ili kupata engine braking au kupanda mlima mkali sana au kutoka kwenye matope kama umezama. Ukiweka 2 inakuwja inaishia hapo kwenye gear ya pili na haiendi zaidi.

Hapo ni kama upo kwenye barabara mbaya sana na unajua huhitaji gear zaidi ya hiyo. Hapa unaipunguzia kazi gear box yako na hata kuiongezea maisha. Ukiweka 3 the same inaishia hapo. Wameweka hivi makusudi kwa kuwa ikiwa D itakuwa inajaribu kufanya kazi sana ya kutafuta gear kutokana na motion ya gari.

Hapa sasa kuna makundi mawili. Hilo la P R D 2 L ndiyo common hapa na ndiyo zenye kidude cha kubonyeza. Kikiwa OFF taa itakuwa inawaka kwenye dash na kikiwa ON Haitowaka. Kama iko OFF maana yake gari haitokuwa inapata support ya engine kwenye kusimama kama vile kupangua kwa wale wenye manual transmission.

Ni brake tu itatumika. Advantage ya kutumia overdrive ni kwamba gari inatumia mafuta kidogo kwa kuwa ukiachia mafuta gari litakuwa neutral. Kama lingekuwa kwenye OD OFF litakuwa kwenye gear likijipangua lenyewe na hapo maana yake mafuta yatatumika mengi. Kundi hili mara nyingi transmission zake hazizidi 4 speed na kama itazidi ni 5 but ni chache sana. Zenye P R D 4 3 2 L AU 1 ni zenye hadi 7 speed. Nyingi ni za kisasa na zenye mambio mengi.

Hizi wamekurahisishia. Badala ya kile kiswitch cha OD wamekuwekea hizo 4 3 nk. Hazina hako kadude tena. Na sina uhakika kama hiyo button ina mahusiano na kuongeza nguvu ya gari zaidi ya haya maelezo niliyotoa. Ila kwenye magari baadhi kuna buttons kwa ajiri ya kazi hiyo na imeandikwa Power/ Normal.

Ukiibofya itaaeika kwenye dash pia. Power kwa maana ya kwamba, kama gear ya kwanza ingechange katika speed 10 kwa mfano, then itachange katika speed 30. Hapa ni kwamba unataka mbio. Bei ya mafuta tunaifahamu kwa sasa nadhani. Hayo ni maelezo kwa jinsi mimi nijuavyo jamani.

Mkuu maelezo yako ni mazuri sana ila nadhani kwenye suala la uwakaji wa taa ktk dashboard nadhani you're somehow wrong...pindi orange light/green light ikiwaka ina maana OD is on and vice versa.
 
Dah. Hili somo bado nitasupple. Kwenye premio kuna maneno huwa yanaonekana kwa rangi ya kijani 'economy' maana yake nini. Pia kuna vidude viwili kimoja ukibonyeza kinaleta alama ktk db 'manu' kingine'power'. Msaada angalu nifaidike na haya maana hili somo la od limenishinda
na mie nimeamua kusubiri supp, maana somo gumu kweli, ukizingatia hii GX100 EXEED, ina button imeandikwa power na ka gear kameandikwa CRUISE, UKIZINGATIA NI 3.0 L. linakumywa wese kama jini ! Sijui hivyo vibutton vinamwaga mafuta nje !?
 
It should be used at highway speeds of over 55 mph(80Kph), but its OK to have it on all the time since your car wont shift into overdrive until the conditions are right (speed and RPM).

DU...Yaani ndugu zangu mbona mnateseka sana kuelezea ama kuelewa kitu hiki kidogo namna hii? Ni hivi, OD maana yake ni Top gear, yaani gear namba 5 full stop. Hivyo basi hutumika pale tu unapotaka kwenda kwa speed kubwa kwa maana kwamba utatumia gear zote tano za automatic car. Kwa hapa mjini ambapo speed ni chini ya 80kmph huna sababu yeyote ya kutumia OD. Ni kwawale wanaokwenda zaidi ya hiyo speed.

Kireka, iyo M manake gear unazipanga utakavyo kama vile manual car. Kunakuwa na buttons kwenye usukani upande wa kulia na kushoto, moja ni "up" na nyengine ni "down"
 
Kwenye harrier mpangilio wa gear kuna P R D then M ambayo ipo kwa ndani kidogo, ukiweka kwenye M inadisplay manual kwenye dash board na mlio unabadilika, mwenye kujua matumizi yake tafadhali.

ukiweka huko kwenye manual gari inakuwa inabadili gear kwa utashi wako. Tofauti na manual zingine hiyo inakuwa inaclutch yake yenyewe. Kazi yako ni kuwa unakisukuma kirungu kwenda mbele au chini ili kubadili gear. Itakuwa inatumha wese vizuri kuliko kwenye auto mode. Jaribu kupata mtu aliyenunua gari jipya upate manual book au google utafute manual book utaweza kujifunza vyema zaidi.
 
Mimi nina GAIA OD inakuwa OFF taa kwenye dashboard inapozima na OD inakuwa ON taa kwenye dash board inapokuwa imezima. huwa nachanganyikiwa kwani nimeambiwa kwa hali ya kawaida Dashboard inatakiwa iwe OFF bila taa kuwaka
 
Cruise ni cruise control. Ukiiweka on maana yake kama uko speed fulani unamaintain hiyo hiyo. Kama ni 50
hai tapanda au kushuka. Kama ni 160 the same. Ni kwa ajili ya highway. Ukishaweka unatoa mguu kwenye moto na ukikanyaga brake inajitoa yenyewe. Kwa huku uswazi itakuuwa mkuu.

Nadhani ile indication ya "overdrive" Huwa inawasumbua watu wengi Kuielewa!! Kwa Kawaida kama ile taa Haiwaki, Normal condition ndio Inakuwa gari Kialisia ipo kwenye Overdrive!! Na ukiwasha button ya overdrive inakuja message inasema "overdrive off!!" Means muda huo hauko kwenye overdrive na taa inakuwa inaonyesha kwenye Dashboard!! Na always kwenye dashboard kukiwa na any lighting ikiwa "on" hii inamaanisha something is not Normal!!

Overdrive
Overdrive maana yake ni kuwa katika uendeshaji wa gari unakuwa umeruhusu kwenye Mwendo fulani (Say 100km/hr and above) mzunguko wa Engine Unakuwa mdogo kuliko Mzunguko wa Gearbox!! Ikimaanisha mzunguko mmoja wa engine ni sawa na mizunguko miwili ya Gearbox (Mfano). kwa kawaida gari ikianza kuacellarate (Mwendo) Huwa mzunguko wa Engine ni Mkubwa kuliko Mzunguko wa Gearbox, na inapofika gear no 4 (Vehicle speed) Engine speed inakuwa sawa na Gearbox speed!! Then kama gari inakuwa kwenye Overdrive Then Unaweza kuaccelarate hadi gear namba 5 na 6 ambazo hizi ni overspeed!! Kumaanisha mzunguko wa Gearbox ni mkubwa kuliko mzunguko wa Engine!! - Note Engine is the source of Motion so you are over the speed of Engine!!

Overdrive "off"
Hii inamaanisha imeilazimisha gari yako iende hadi Gear no 4 bila kuiruhusu gear no 5 na 6 (Kwa baadhi ya Magari) Hivyo kitendo hicho kinafanya gari kutoa mlio Mkali kwani Unapokuwa kwenye gear no 4 na mwendo wa 120km/h unakuwa unailazimisha engine kuzunguka sana na Hivyo unaweza kuwa na revolution ya up to 4.5 rpm to 5 rpm hence more consumption of fuel hence more energy!!!

As popular cars became faster relative to legal limits and fuel costs became more important, particularly after the 1973 oil crisis, the use of 5-speed gearboxes became more common in mass-market cars, with the 5th gear being an overdrive, eliminating the need for a separate gearbox.[SUP][1][/SUP]

With the popularity of front wheel drive cars, the separate gearbox and final drive have merged into a single transaxle. However the fundamental meaning, that of an overall ratio higher than the ratio for maximum speed, still applies.[SUP][1][/SUP] Although the deliberate labelling of an overdrive is now rare, the underlying feature is now found across all cars.

The most fundamental meaning is that of an overall gear ratio between engine and wheels, such that the car is now over-geared and can no longer reach its potential top speed, i.e. the car could travel faster if it were in a lower gear, with the engine turning more quickly. The purpose of such a gear may not be immediately obvious. The power produced by an engine increases with the engine's speed to a maximum, then falls away. The point of maximum power is somewhat slower than the absolute maximum speed to which the engine is limited, the "redline" speed. A car's speed is limited by the power available to drive it against air resistance—so the maximum possible speed is obtained at the engine's point of maximum power, or power peak, and the gear ratio necessary to achieve this will be the single ratio between these two speeds.

As the power needed increases dramatically at high speeds, most cars will be capable of achieving a fast cruising speed slightly less than their maximum, but with far less power being required. This power is available well below the engine's power peak and so the ideal cruising gear is an overdrive gear, a ratio higher than that for absolute top speed.

With the early development of cars and the almost universal rear-wheel drive layout, the final drive (i.e. rear axle) ratio for fast cars was chosen to give the ratio for maximum speed. The gearbox was designed so that, for efficiency, the fastest ratio would be a 'direct-drive' or 'straight-through' 1:1 ratio, avoiding frictional losses in the gears. Achieving an overdriven ratio for cruising thus required a gearbox ratio even higher than this, i.e. the gearbox output shaft rotating faster than the original engine speed. The propeller shaft linking gearbox and rear axle is thus overdriven, and a transmission capable of doing this became termed an "overdrive" transmission.
