Jana nimenunua kilo kumi za mchele wa pishori kutoka Mwea kwa bei ya 140Kshs per KG, halafu naona kwa Tanzania ni kama 270kshs kwa kilo ila sijui ni wa aina gani Corona yapandisha bei ya mchele

Kwa hiyo Tanzanian rice is much valued than Kenyan rice?

Hawa jamaa maisha ni magumu kwao lakini kazi ni kujimwambafai mwambafai, pishori rice is one of the best rice in Kenya. Leo hii ukipita pale Ahero mchele umejaa hadi unatembezwa Kama karanga kilo wanauzaga Mia moja. Mimi my favorite is dawati.

Tanzania kuna zaidi ya aina 5 tofauti za Michele na bei ni tofauti. Mchele wa Kyela ndio mzuri kuliko wote na bei yake ni kubwa, kupatikana kwake ni ngumu, huko Kenya haufiki kwasababu unalimwa mpakani na Malawi, Mchele wa Mwanza na Shinyanga ndio unaonunuliwa na nchi za Rwanda na Uganda, Mchele wa Morogoro na Moshi, ndio unaokuja Kenya, mchele wa Mbeya na Pwani, ndio unaotimika Dar es salaam. Yote ni tofauti kabisa na bei pia ni tofauti.

Sasa Kama mnaexport 84000 tons hio Ina translate into 90 % of the rice consumed here? For your information kenya consumes 600000 tons of rice annually na ndio nimekuambia most of imported rice comes from Pakistan, kenya imports 200000 tons of rice from Pakistan.

Not all nations have land to cultivate rice . Geography matters .Tanzania has more land for rice production than kenya. The land available in Kenya can thus not be able to feed the entire nation . Hence we have to import the additional amount we need .
Rice requires very specific climatic and geographical conditions to grow. Tanzania has much more land for this than kenya .

Low IQ fool. Do you really think tea coffee and flowers grow in the same soil and climate conditions as Rice . We dont have large low lying wet lands to produce all the rice we need . Otherwise we would have. Lakini kwa your stupid brain , you think Rice we grow in the Kenyan Highlands next to coffee,tea ,and flowers. It just shows how stupid you are. You don't know what it takes to grow rice .
Same condition in kenya with sugar UG and TZ have more land available with the conditions required to grow large amounts of canes , kenya has land but not enough to meet national demand.

No kenyan will oppose this . Every Kenyan knows , thats why we are ok with imports from Pakistan . Kenya doesn't have enough land to grow rice and sugar. Tanzania has more land to produce a surplus and export .

Pishori ni moja ya mchele usio na soko kuliko aina zote Tz.

Kwa sasa unaupata kwa Tshs450-500/kg mashineni mkoani Shinyanga (Kagongwa/Isaka) ilhali mzuri unaanzia Tshs1,200+/kg.

Ndo nalishia kuku wangu wa kienyeji huo.
