Who new that somebody like Sonko would rise above mp to his current position as the governer of the EA's most important city?

Babu Owino won, Boniface Mwangi lost. Waheguru, Shollei and even Ngilu have triumphed in the respective positions they were vying for, with the sleazy allegations of corruption hanging over their heads notwithstanding.

No, u get out of your box and visit China, and see how people there are striving to master the language. Most Chinese parents prefer taking their children to English teaching schools.

Those who want to advance in their careers have resorted to signing up for part- time coarses in the language.

Go to China, u will find thousands of people able to speak English....even a smattering, but unlikely to find anybody speaking Swahili.

U Tanzanians always reference China to bolster your argument that English is not that necessary, but what can be more misguided than that?!

No language can make you clever but it assists you to explain what you know. It does not give you what to say. Don't generalize. How many Tz have you met?
You want to have children who are capable to the world market for their wider choices in life/work or even exposure, it does not make English language only mode of communication. Its an added value.
People live without English and make money,go to school get PhD and marry wife and have children, English is not an end of the world go to Netherlands they speak Dutch, Spain Spanish, Italy e.t.c just know what you want to be in life. See life in a bigger picture don't copy and paste.

This is Kenya,and that is why am saying he won't go beyond the governors seat. av heard him announce today that he will join national politics come 2022 and mudavadi has welcomed him.
