1. Yes.I personally did not wish to see a struggling cripple everyday as the Tanzanian president. Especially if there are other able bodied people qualified for the job.He could have done something else that is less taxing on his body. I am being brutally honest here with no regard to political correctness.
Less taxing in which ways? Physically? Mentally?
But that’s your preference and I’m fine with it.
2. No. But irrelevant. Death is not even a determining factor.
3. Again. Death is irrelevant here. Just a sickly disposition is enough to disqualify.
Okay. Fine. That’s your personal preference. But death is relevant. Even the constitution recognizes that.
Magufuli’s heart condition never prevented him from carrying out his responsibilities, though.
4. Again. Death is irrelevant. If she has a serious illness that limits her capacity to work as a president and she is hiding it from us, I will fault her for that even if she does not die in office.
What is work as president? How was Magufuli limited to work as president?
5. If it is as serious as Magufuli’s, limiting a president from international travel, then yes.
International travel is part of the president’s job description? Per what?
Magufuli was a very selfish man.
He was so selfish he did not even care for his health.
He just wanted to be president and run the show.
A person with that serious a heart condition should not aspire to a rigorously taxing office such as the presidency.
That is just tempting fate for an early demise.
Nope. Not at all . Your opinions are very misguided on this.
A selfish man wouldn’t want to serve others. A selfish man would be all about himself.
Magufuli served his country selflessly. An argument can be made that he even gave his life serving his country and his people.
He is, flaws and all, a true son of the soil.
Anyone who is willing to put his life on the line while serving his country should be revered. And that is not selfishness. Far far from it.
Dying is a natural thing. We’ve had a Vice President who died in office. Now we’ve had a president. I suspect this won’t be the last time a president or Vice President dies while still in office.
Death happens. The constitution recognizes that. It provides for a way forward for what to do should it happen.
He is dead. The country is still here. Intact.
It’s life. It goes on. And so on we go.
