Historia ya Uhuru isimuliwavyo na Mohammed Said yakosolewa

Nikusahihishe kwanza. Historia haina mwenza. Kuna historia kamili au isiyokamilika. Historia 'rasmi' siyo lazima isiwe historia sahihi kwani rasmi yaweza kuwa ni historia sahihi lakini haijakamilika. Mtu akisema kuwa alipotoka Ubungo kwenda Kariakoo alipata maeneo ya Urafiki, Manzese na Magomeni halafu akaenda zake hadi Kariakoo anaweza kuwa ameelezea kitu sahihi kabisa na mtu wa kumwelewa atakuwa amemwelewa. Lakini akisema kuwa ndio ametaja sehemu zote alizopitia kwa hakiki siyo kamili kwani kuna maeneo mengine ambayo ameyaruka na hajatuelezea kama wakati anafanya hivyo alichepukia pembeni. Lakini kwamba ametuambia njia aliyoipitia kutoka Ubungo basi kwa kiasi kikubwa tutamwelewa.

Historia ambayo wengi wetu tumejifunza imetaja watu wengi sana na kinyume na unavyodai hakuna kitabu chochota kinachotumika katika shule za Tanzania (iwe msingi, sekondari au vyuo vikuu) ambayo inatumia kitabu 'rasmi' ambacho kinaelezea historia kuwa ya kupigania uhuru ilianzia na Nyerere mwaka 1954. HAKUNA KITABU HICHO.

Sasa uzuri wa historia ni kuwa ni somo ambalo linaweza kuongezewa taarifa zaidi ili kulifanya kuwa kamili zaidi na kuwasaidia watu kujua zaidi na zaidi. Nilipoagiza kitabu chako nilitaarajia kusoma historia yetu ya wazee wetu na mchango wa wale ambao walikuwa wamesahauliwa. Nilipokisoma taratibu nilianza kuona pattern ya ajabu ukitokea.

a. Kila mwenye jina la Kiislamu ulimuita Muislamu bila ya kujali kama alikuwa anaamini yale yale au hata kama alikuwa anashika dini. Wengine ambao unawataja kuwa ni "waislamu" kwa kweli kabisa walikuwa ni wenye imani za jadi zilichanganywa na Uislamu ndani yake na hata wengine wanaweza kabisa kuwa walikuwa ni washirikina! Lakini hili kwako si hoja kwani hoja kwako ilikuwa ni 'majina ya kiislamu".

b. Baada ya muda 'Waislamu' wakawa ni wale tu waliokuwa kwenye jumuiya fulani fulani watu wenye majina ya Kiislamu lakini hawakuwa kwenye jumuiya hiyo hawa ukaanza kuwapa makundi mengine lakini ukaanza kuwatofautisha kwa kuwataja kwa mahali wanakotoka.

c. Unapofika mwaka 1963 unaanza kuwagawa "Waislamu" siyo kwa imani zao au la bali kwa kuangalia waliokuwa ndani ya TANU na wale waliokuwa nje ya TANU. Waliokuwa ndani ya TANU wakaanza kuangaliwa kwa shuku na ilipofika wakati wa kuvunjwa EAMWS Waislamu wakawa ni wale tu waliohusiana na EAMWS lakini wale waliobakia ndani ya TANU na wakaunda BAKWATA hawakuwa WAislamu japo HAKUNA USHAHIDI hata mmoja kuwa waliopiga kura kule Iringa kulikuwepo na Wakristu, Maaskofu au Wachungaji. Kama kigezo chako cha kwanza cha "majina" kuwa ndio Uislamu ingetosha kabisa kufanya BAKWATA ni halali kwani wote walioanzisha walikuwa ni wenye majina ya Kiislamu!

d. Lakini kwa vile lengo lako lilikuwa kuandika habari za "Waislamu" ambao walikuwa wanakubaliana na wazee wako au ambao waliamini wameonewa basi ikabidi uhakikishe kabisa kuwa huandiki habari za Watu wengine ambao hawakuwa Waislamu japo michango yao labda ililinga na wengine hata ilizidi ya wale uliowaita 'wazee wako'. Lakini hukufanya hivi tu. Ukaamua pia kuwafuta Waislamu wengine wote ambao walikuwa hawakubaliana na wazee wako na kuwaweka kwenye footnotes za Kitabu au mwisho wa kitabu.

Sasa kumbe wakati unawatuhumu wengine kuwa wanafundisha historia "rasmi" ambayo imepotosha watu walitarajia kuwa na wewe ungeendika a more comprehensive history of Tanzania's early days. La hasha. Na wewe ukaenda kuandika historia yako 'rasmi' ambayo haikuwa na lengo jingine lolote bali kuonesha ukuu wa Waislamu katika harakati za kupigania uhuru na kuonesha kuwa wao ndio walitaka kuwa huru zaidi kuliko jamii nyingine. Kumbuka ukajikuta unatukuza watu fulani fulani tu na siyo ukweli wa historia. Wakati unamtuhumu Nyerere kupindisha historia kuwa alijipendelea na wewe mwenyewe ukafanya kile kile cha kupindisha historia na kuwapendelea Wazee wako. Wakati unamlaumu Nyerere kuandika historia ambayo imewaweka watu wengine pembeni - japo hakuna ushahidi wa Nyerere kuhusika kuandika historia - wewe mwenyewe ukaandika historia ukiwaacha watu wengine pembeni.

Kama vile wale wengine unadai walidai kuwa historia yao ilikuwa rasmi lakini haijakamilika wewe mwenyewe unadai sasa historia hii ya kwako ni 'kweli tupu' wakati nayo haijakamilika. Kubali yafuatayo kwanza:

a. HIstoria yako si kamili na haiwezi kuwa historia rasmi
b. Historia yako imeandikwa kwa ajili ya kuenzi wazee wako lakini siyo kwa ajili ya kuonesha ukweli wa historia
c. Historia yako imetokana zaidi na hisia kuliko historia.
d. Historia yako imelengwa katika kupotosha mchango wa Wazee wetu ili kuonesha upande mmoja wa wazee wetu (Waislamu wa Gerezani) walikuwa ndio magwiji wa uhuru wa Tanganyika na watu wengine wote wakiwa ni watu walionufaika na hao wazee wa Gerezani.
e. Historia yako ina lengo la kukana nafasi ya pekee (unique role) ya Nyerere kama Baba wa Taifa (hili jina hakuanza kuitwa baada ya kustaafu, upo ushahidi wa Kambona kumuita Nyerere "baba wa Taifa" katikati ya 1960s). Wazee wa Dar-es-Salaam walitambua nafasi hiyo ya Nyerere, waliiheshimu na waliishi naye katika uhusiano wa kuamianiana (patnership of trust).
f. HIstoria yako haitaki kukubali ukweli kwamba Nyerere kama Rais alikuwa na wajibu kwa Watanganyika wote na asingeweza katika dhamira safi kutoa upendeleo wa pekee kwa wazee fulani kana kwamba wazee wengine hawakushiriki. Kikundi cha wazee wanaomlalamikia Nyerere leo hii ni wale ambao walitarajia kuwa wangepata nafasi fulani au upendeleo fulani (Nyerere aliligusia hili katika hotuba yake ile ya 1962).

Kubali haya kwanza ili tuweze kusonga mbele.

But what usually thrills Muslims and utterlysignificant showing that times have changed is when in the rallies and innormal discussion Muslims refer to Nyerere hitherto known respectfully as "Babawa Taifa" as "Baba wa Kanisa," meaning "Church Elder."[1] The moveby the Catholic Church to make him a saint has not helped matters. More so itproves all the allegations levelled against Nyerere that he never was anationalist but a Catholic zealot. Respect and love which Muslims once had forNyerere has been completely wiped out. The new generation of Muslims no longerbelieve in the official history of TANU and the propaganda that it was Nyererewho single handed defeated the British. Muslims instead are honouring theforgotten heroes of independence movement and in so doing invoking emotionsparticularly in the new generation to stand up against oppression as theirforefathers had done against Germans and the British. Muslim heroes of the MajiMaji War like Suleiman Mamba, Ali Songea Mbano,[2] andMuslim nationalists like Abdulwahid [3] and AllySykes,[4] DossaAziz, Sheikh Hassan bin Amir,[5] SheikhSuleiman Takadir, Sheikh Yusuf Badi, Bibi Titi Mohamed,[6] BibiTatu bint Mzee, Bilali Rehani Waikela,[7] AliMigeyo[8] andothers are now part of nationalist history which was suppressed for many years.[9] Muslimsare demanding the restoration of their history and honour as true liberators ofTanganyika. This is unprecedented. One can only speculate and wonder where thiswould lead to. Can we identify thisphenomenon as corrective and revision of history or is it a lesson of anarchyin recording history?[10] Theresult of all this is that the Church has been made to stand naked. That theChurch did not play any role during Maji Maji[11] orduring the struggle against the British or that it has worked hand in hand withthe government to sabotage Islam and Muslims is now common knowledge.

Thetwo books had painted him differently. Prof. Haroub confronted Nyerere and toldhim that the allegations in those two works have tarnished his image and headvised him to respond to them. Nyerere never did. Christian lecturers at Dares Salaam University are discouraging students from making references to thosetwo books. Dr. Harith Ghassany's book KwaheriUkoloni Kwaheri Uhuru, has also come up with more information on Nyererehitherto unknown in the Zanzibar Revolution and the bloodbath which followed.

Yeah of course mtu akitaka hadithi yake inoge lazima uweke na manjonjo humo ndani. Kuna watu walikuwa wakisimulia hadithi hadi watu wanashikwa na midadi. Here we go again! Hujaandika kuhusu "the forgotten heroes of Indepence Movement". Umeandika kuhusu wanaharakati Waislamu na wengine wote ukawaacha (you also forgot them!). How can one trying to remember the 'forgotten' choose so purposely to forget some of which he vowed to remember?

Probably right.. but are you sure it stood naked. Je swali hili linaulizwa kuhusu taasisi nyingine za kidini wakati wa kukomesha utumwa tuone kama nazo zinaweza kuachwa watupu? Uzuri mmoja wa Kanisa Katoliki kwenye haya mambo ya historia ni kuwa halina hofu ya historia yake. Kwa miaka 2000 historia ya Kanisa Katoliki imejaa mazuri na maovu mengi tu. Japo hili linaweza kuonekana ni jambo la kina sanalakini ukiliangalia kwa karibu halina kina hicho. Ni lazima ujue mafundisho ya Kanisa ya wakati ule yalikuwaje kwenye suala la mambo ya vita. Lakini vile vile unashindwa kukiri nafasi ya kanisa katika kuponya maeneo ambayo yalikuwa yameharibiwa na Wajerumani na kutoa huduma kwa majeruhi ya vita. Ni kweli yawezekana Kanisa halikufanya mengi (sijui lingefanya nini hasa sijui maana kule Ulaya nako Kanisa linalaumiwa kwa hivi hivi) lakini kwa hakika limefanya mengi mara baada ya vita hiyo na ile ya kwanza ya dunia na ya pili ya dunia.
 
Mwanakijiji, huyo Mohamed Said hana tofauti na huyu hapa kwa jina Khatib M. Rajab al-Zinjibari, naye adai alifanya utafiti na anatoa historia ya kweli.
Khatib M. Rajab al-Zinjibari said:
It is known that with the exception of the lates Sheikh Sulayman bin Takadir, Sheikh Hassan bin Ameir al-Shirazy and Sheikh Zubeir Mtemvu, the Muslims in Tanganyika overwhelmingly rejected their own All-Muslim National Union of Tanganyika (AMNUT) to defend national unity under TANU whose president was Nyerere.

These Islamists tried to impress their fellow Muslims that Christians, even though they were their fellow Tanganyikans, had a deep-seated hatred and enmity towards Muslims and that they would never treat Muslims with fairness and justice once they control political power. They insisted that after independence, educational imbalance would never be redressed and the positions of Muslims in education and other social areas would not improve significantly.

Because of their stand, Sheikh Sulayman bin Takadir was expelled from his then Chairmanship of Elders' Council of TANU, while Sheikh Zubeir bin Mtevu formed the African National Union (ANC), in opposition to TANU under a Christian leadership of Nyerere.
Ironically, the Churches in Tanganyika rejected TANU, twice in 1958 at Sumbawanga and in 1965 at Mbulu. They were scheming hand in glove with the British colonial government which groomed Nyerere to be the first president in Tanganyika after British.
After independence under Nyerere, Tanzanian Christians are reaping what they did not plant but are enjoying the benefits of every sector cemented by Christian Church Movement (CCM) supported by the Western nations.

Nyerere ruled his country for the betterment of clandestine Catholic Church Movement (CCM), in Tanzania and Muslims in this country were the first in the world who contributed money to the Catholic secessionist state of Biafra in Nigeria to fight against their fellow Muslims in Nigeria, the most populous Muslim nation in Africa. The Catholic Church Movement in Biafra demanded to secede to rid themselves in what they called "a calamitous slavery in an ocean of Muslims."

In contrary, a number of Muslim troops from Zanzibar were disproportionately killed during the Nyerere's invasion of Uganda in 1979 which toppled a Muslim ruler, Iddi Amin and re-installed Nyerere's old friend, Milton Obote, a Christian who supported Nyerere for the creation of Tanzania in collaboration with the Central Inteligence Agency (CIA) whose director was George Bush, later the former US President.

Their huge Christian Churches as well as many seminaries and proliferation of foreign priests and sisters in Tanzanian Churches, is a firm evidence that Christian organizations in Tanzania are affiliated with and used by foreign countries, because they can not through their local donation alone to carry out such activities and finance the lavish-style of their Church leaders.
All the Churches and monasteries in Tanzania are the property of the Western nations, from where they receive their orders and budgets for evangelism. For instance;


  • The Tanzanian Catholic Church is the property of Italians, Portuguese, Spaniards, Belgians and French, the Lutheran Church is the property of Germans and Dutch, the architect of the apartheid in South Africa.
  • The Anglican Church is the property of the British, the Moravian Church is the property of the Nordic countries,
  • The Church of Pentecostal Assemblies of God, Seventh Day Adventists and African Inland Mission, among others are the properties of the United States.
Further evidence of their affiliation is that all the Churches in developing countries, including Tanzania are referred to as "provinces" meaning that they are a sort of institutional chapters, and that their highest leadership is from the Western countries instead of host countries.
The proliferation of Western Churches in Tanzania, led to the formation of many organizations such as;

  • The Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC), the Catholic Secretariat representing the largest Christian denomination;

The Tanzanian Churches are affiliated either with World Council of Churches or Lutheran World Federation. In contrast, the Muslims in Tanzania are marginalized and they are not allowed to be affiliated with any global Muslim organization, whether the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) or the Islamic Organization of Africa (IOA), in the gist that Tanzania is a secular state, despite the fact that secularism is a Christian ethos of governance (Matthew 22:21) and mimicked from the Western nations like the Unites States.

Ironically, that Tanzania is a member of the Commonwealth, whose chief should always be the head of the Anglican Church of England, the former colonial ruler before the ascendancy of Nyerere in Zanzibar and Tanganyika.

Wakristo wa ulaya sidhani kama wanafikia (Qualify) viwango vya kuwa wakristo huku kwetu Afrika. Wakristo wa ulaya maaskofu wake ndiyo wale mashoga, wanauza makanisa yao kwa sababu yanakosa waumini, wasagaji wanaoana kanisani na wakati mwingine makanisa hayo yanaendesha mpaka kamari (lotto) makanisani. Hata waislamu wa Nchi za magharibi zidhani kama Faizafoxy na Mohamed Saidi watawakubali kwamba ni waislamu.

Hoja yangu ni kwamba kutokana na kugandamizwa na mifumo mikongwe ya kanisa na utawala wa Kifalme watu wa Magharibi wameasi dhidi ya mfumo wowote ule unaoonekana kwamba unanyima uhuru wa watu. Kama maandiko yake yanavyoonekana MS amefanikiwa kuonyesha kwamba yeye anapigania "haki" na "uhru" wa waislamu walikokuwa wamegandamizwa na "mfumo kristo" kwa muda mrefu. Kama Nyerere alipokufa walidiriki kumuita Dikteta itakuwaje akitokea mtu kutoka kwenye nchi anayotoka "dikteta" kuthibitisha madai yao!!

Labda naomba ufafanuzi kuvaa kidini ndio kuvaa namna gani? yaani kavaa kanzu na kofia? au kavaa kofia kama Augustono Mrema? Na vipi wale wale wanaovaa rosali shingoni au kuweka katika magari yao huko Tanganyika? au wale wanaupiga nyimbo za dini kwenye maofisi ya serikali? huo sio udini?

Vipi yale mapambo ya X-mas tree na mengine mengi wakti wa msimu wa sikukuu ya kuzaliwa yesu? sio udini.

Naomba ufafanuzi wako hapo.

Lakini pia nimekuwa nakueleza uongo wowote ukiachwa kwa muda mrefu basi unageuka kuwa kweli. MS na wenzake watuambie ni wapi na ni lini waslamu walikatazwa kwenda kuhiji, kuswali. kufunga kwa Sunnah na Kufunga Ramadhani, kutoa zaka au kushahadia. Sijawahi kuona mfumo wa serikali ukikataza wakristo kusilimu au waislamu kujenga misikiti au kuadhini. Naijua misikiti ambayo iko katikati ya makazi ya watu kwenye mchanganyiko wa wakristo na waislamu na sijawahi kusikia serikali ikikataza waislamu kuadhini kwa sababu 'wanawasumbua" wasio waislamu kwa adhana zao.

Waislamu wanapotaka kwenda Mecca kuhiji hakuna siku walikatazwa kwenda badala yake serikali mara kadhaa imewahi kutoa fedha kusaidia waislamu kwenda kuhiji, sasa hapo waislamu wanakandamizwaje na huo mfumokristu na inakuwaje mfumokristu unashindwa kuzuia waislamu kuhiji, kusilimisha wakristo au kuadhini?

Hivi karibuni serikali si ilishawahi kutoa zaidi ya Shilingi Bilioni 2 kusafirisha mahujaji kwenda Mecca kuhiji? Kanisa lilikuwa wapi kuizuia serikali kutoa fedha hizo??
