Well, the news has reached the rest of us.

Last week IMF released it's latest (2019) GDP figures.
Great news for Kenya, slow growth for Tanzania as usual.

Kenya has overtaken Ethiopia in the latest figures, and we're now just 1 year short of reaching $100 billion.
Tanzania has been overtaken by Ghana as expected.

Meanwhile, the gap between the GDPs of Kenya and Tanzania has grown from $23 billion last year, to $38 billion this year.
What that means is that the economy of Kenya is larger than Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi and South Sudan combined.

Tanzania is behind in everything, ata ile wanapenda kujidanganya ati PPP. They are behind everywhere.

Sasa, eliakeem na wenzake wataambia nini watu?

Tutaipiku kenya... Tuta.....
Kenya is one self critical nation, it doesn't hide its flaws which is one step towards solving them ,we see it in the media, politics ,schools, universities workplaces and even in our homes ...

an envious neighbor will gossip and point at your flaws ignorant of his own shortcomings , he will watch as you prosper and improve with time ahead of him ,he finds fewer things to criticize ,his envy will grow till he matures and realizes that he needs to work together with you to build a prosperous neighbourhood ,
a united East African neighbourhood with common currency,
a huge market, with minimal borders where people, goods and labour move freely,
a geopolitical heavyweight with international influence and clout able to negotiate better deals for its people,
at that time in the future he will realize how petty and insignificant his actions were compared to the benefits of embracing his neighbor...

Good news, we are ahead of Angola in GDP nominal .
1.If we reduce corruption
2.Endeavor to improve the life of the common man, and access to basic services
3.Pump more resources into science, technology and consequently manufacturing

We will be un-stoppable, tutakuwa tunakaribia Egypt , Nigeria and SA

Even with all our problems ! This means it's our own fault that we are not at par with the likes of SA and Egypt... Tukijipanga vizuri hawa watu hawatoshi mboga, even the corrupt should realize the more money we make accessible to the economy the more money there will be to steal so they should make sure kila mwananchi anapata opportunity ya kutengeneza hela ili Kodi ya serekali iongezeke!

Tuambieni, what is the effect of this cooked GDP to Kenya and Kenyans in general, apart from inflated Ego?.

I stated herein sometimes that we're going to hit 100 billion mark by end in. I was RIGHT

So what, just that is enough?, people are dying left and right, economic hardship is hurting every Kenyans daily, standard of living is going down, but so long as you read about GDP, you feel comfortable. Purely failed state mentality.

Achana na hio mikaratasi tunataka TANGIBLE THINGS OR PHISICAL CHANGES.
