Washindwe kumsikiliza Conte wanisikilize mie mmatumbi? Nedved naye kashindwa kuwashauri hawa vilaza au lao moja? Au kama vipi nayeye ang'atuke tu labla watashtuka. Rumour: Pirlo's Juventus future in doubt
Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus future could be in doubt, with reports that Massimiliano Allegri will take charge following Antonio Conte's exit.

Antonio Conte announced his resignation as Bianconeri boss on Tuesday night after falling out with the club over transfer strategy.

As such, the champions have acted quickly in lining up a successor, with stories emanating that the former Milan man has agreed a two-year deal.

But that news could throw Pirlo’s future in Turin in doubt, at least according to Tuttosport.

The paper believes that the veteran midfielder could angle for a move away following their previous disagreements.

Pirlo was shown the door at San Siro by Allegri back in 2011, but has gone on to become the lynchpin of Juve’s three title wins.

The sports daily claims that the Italy international is uneasy about working with the 46-year-old again, but the tactician is desperate to heal old wounds and keep his star man.

Allegri appointed Juventus coach
Massimiliano Allegri has been appointed the head coach of Juventus, succeeding Antonio Conte who resigned on Tuesday.

"Allegri is the new manager of Juventus," the Italian champions said on their official Twitter feed.

Italian media report that Allegri has signed a two-year deal that will earn him €2 million (£1.5 million) a season plus bonuses.

Conte made the surprise announcement that he was leaving Juve on Tuesday after winning three straight Serie A titles during his three years in charge.

The former midfielder could take the Italy manager's post left vacant by Cesare Prandelli, who stepped down as national team boss after a terrible World Cup campaign in which his side were eliminated following the group stage.

Allegri was sacked by Milan midway through last season after a dreadful start to the campaign that left them languishing in mid-table, and was replaced by Clarence Seedorf in January after more than a year of speculation surrounding his position.

"It’s an honour for me. Let’s say it’s a bolt from the blue. First and foremost I consider myself fortunate," Allegri told reporters at a press conference on the day of his unveiling.

"I understand the scepticism of the fans. I will win them over with work, respect and professionalism."

His arrival could cause friction with Andrea Pirlo after Allegri sold the gifted playmaker to Juve in 2011 while in charge of Milan, convinced that he could no longer play in his favoured position in front of the defence.

However, Allegri took to Twitter to quash any suggestions that he and Pirlo would not see eye to eye.

Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta insists star midfielder Arturo Vidal is not for sale this summer.

Speaking at the press conference to announce Max Allegri as the club’s new coach, the official said the 27-year-old is happy in Turin.

“He is a Juventus player and in fact we have never put him up for sale,” Marotta told reporters.

“A lot of people have asked about him but we have never sat down around a table to negotiate. We will hold him tight.

“Given that, because of experience, I will say that it’s often a player who decides his future. He has many times said he is happy to stay in Turin.

“If these feelings are confirmed we would be happy to continue together.”

Roma buy Iturbe
Juan Manuel Iturbe is officially a Roma player after agreeing a €22m move from Hellas Verona.

The Giallorossi released a statement confirming the transfer was worth €22m with performance-based add-ons up to €2.5m.

The player has signed a five-year contract, terminating June 30 2019.

Iturbe underwent part of his medical this evening and will complete the necessary tests tomorrow morning.

The Argentine forward just turned 21 and Verona activated their €15m buy-out clause after he spent last season in Serie A on loan from Porto.

He scored eight goals in 33 games and provided five assists.

Targeted by Juventus, Milan, Atletico Madrid and Benfica, Roma made the decisive push last night.

The €24.5m is considerably less than the €28-30m predicted by many sources.

Juventus set to unveil Evra and Morata

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has arrived in Turin for his Juventus move with Patrice Evra also close to signing.

The Spaniard touched down at the airport in a private jet on Friday evening and was met by reporters.

“I am very happy to be here,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“I will have my medical tomorrow and can’t wait to start my new adventure.”

Morata will spend the night at the club’s Vinovo training ground before a medical and contract signing on Saturday.

The cost of the operation will be €18m, but Real Madrid are expected to have a buy-back option worth €35m to be exercised within the next two years.

Meanwhile, it is also being reported that Evra has finally agreed to join from Manchester United.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the player’s contract will be deposited with Serie A officals on Saturday.

There had been concerns Evra would pull out of the move after the sudden departure of coach Antonio Conte.

However, the French international defender seems convinced the project will remain intact even with Massimiliano Allegri at the helm.

Juve are expected to pay €2m in order to buy Evra from Manchester United.

In an interview with Tuttosport, the Swiss star stated: 'Juventus would definitely be a nice option.
'Juventus are a big club, who wouldn't want to play for them... I don't think Juventus would be a step back in my career.
