Also on this date, but in 1969, the club won its second European Cup by overcoming Ajax 4-1 in the final. This is how the Rossoneri lined-up that night: Cudicini, Anquilletti, Schnellinger; Rosato, Malatrasi, Trapattoni; Hamrin, Lodetti, Sormani, Rivera, Prati.
