Kenya declares war on Al Shabaab!

Have you just woken up from a 35 year comma? Just to keep you updated, Kenyatta died on the 22nd date of August 1978, there was an attempted coup by the Air force wing of the military in 1982 trying to oust the then president Daniel Moi, Our current president Mwai Kibaki gave us a new constitution and also led us to war against Alshabaab... yeah, skipped the civil wars and the famines we've suffered of late, I think they are important in developing a strong nation.. Do your thing bro but stop the hate though, it doesnt benefit anyone, dont forget Alshabaab is a common enemy, the next time they blow something in Dar you'll be the first to post hate threads against them, lets be civil.

War is not a only solution toward resolving the Somalian's conflict. Americans and Ethiopeans has been there with the same purpose, but they didn't made it. I am not convinced that Kenya gonna meke it.

My stand is very clear, Let any part that is interested in bringing peace in Somali, being Kenya's goverment or America's or Somalians themselves, They must sit on the table with all the parties or clans in Somali and talk. No less no more!

Tanks, F-15 and Kalashnyikof will never bring peace in Somali.

Kuna uhusiano gani hapo ..................ilhali Kenyatta died almost 35 years ago?

Count down when Kenya as a nation went to war with neighbouring countries.

Relation: Kenyata didn't take the coutry to war with the neighbours, but Kibaki did it.

Things have changed bro! When the late President Kenyatta was alive, Al Shabab never existed.

Wengine wanaota, msamehe bureee. Anafikiri vitu visivyowezekana. Al Shaabab wanaweza wakakomeshwa tu kama nia ipo. Kenyans have done the right thing to pursue them.

its so unfortunate for you! i thought your president was the first to support our operation in Somalia!? what did have to say about innocent young Tanzanians who were recently Arrested in Mogadishu recently fighting for Alshabaab!!? Alshsbaab is an international menace not Kenya's only..

Haha haaa haaa haaaaaa.

Hapa sijazungumzia zile flying toilets!

Poleni, mwaka huu mmeipata.

Sijui utasaidika aje wewe!!!?? Ethiopia inatushindia tu wingi wa wana jeshi, ina wana jeshi takribani 300,000 lakini sio kwa ujuzi ama uwezo wa kivita .....na walishindwa kama watoto wadogo kuleta amani Somalia lakini Kenya kwa uwezo wake wa kidiplomasia iliweza kuunda serekali ya mpito ambayo sasa hivi twai tetea,in fact we are dealing with the mess Ethiopia created by their failure to flush out ICU.sina mengi hapo sababu kuelewa kwako ni shida.
Kuhusu utalii, kila nchii duniani inategemea utalii including Tanzania.......nenda kwa tovuti ya World Tourism Organisation,Misri, Ufaransa ,mexico nk ni nchi ambazo hupata watalii wengi sana ulimwenguni..Kenya kutegemea utalii sio hoja...tumetoka mbali baada ya PEV hakuna litakalo tushinda.Kenya hatuna madini, mashamba yenye rotuba infact only 16% of our land is arable na Tanzania imebarikiwa na kila kitu!! lakini ni nchii maskini ya ajabu! huo utajiri hauwasidii.......sisi tumepewa werevu tu! ndio tuko juu..and we intend to maintain this position regardless of the oil in UG and SS ands all your minerals.....njaa,ufisadi,ukabila na umasikini ni changamoto ambazo tuta shinda...already tuna katiba mpya lililo baki ni kuwang'oa wafisadi na wazee wote uongozini....rome was not built in one day....

Sasa WAKENYA watamkumbuka KENYATA.

Smartest Iraelians to poor Kenyans! Maji ukiyavulia nguo huna budi kuyaoga.

please re read the article ,do it again, think, then type something sensible for us to read....you are developing another line of argument using the wrong article.....Amison is a UN and IGAD initiative in which Kenya and Ethiopia are members...and both countries are affected by a lawlessness in Somalia.

Charles Onyango-Obbo is not a Kenyan you *%&"^, he's Ugandan. You've spent the last few weeks doing down Kenya and claiming that it's your opinion (and you have a right to it) but now you can't stand someone else having an opinion which is positive about Kenya...you hatred will choke you my friend and you won't go anywhere with it. :ballchain: You just continue venting your hatred, anger and inferiority complex on the internet...Kenya will keep doing what it does regardless and the only one your hatred affects is you! While you are venting, you'll notice that everyone suddenly wants to get in on operation linda nchi...they've seen the way the wind is blowing and are adjusting accordingly...Al-Shabab are on their last legs (i'm sure you're quite disappointed with that) and everyone wants to bask in the glory!

Tell them Bro!! What is hurting most people -mostly Tanzanians- is that we are succeeding where even the world powers have failed MISERABLY ...and no casualties on our side to write home about..they expected failure on our part, so that they could celebrate and gossip about it every where but we have not given them that chance because our boys(KDF)have continued to disappoint them one moment after another by successfully delivering Alshabaab strong holds to Somali TFG forces...no wonder Museveni had to shamefully bury his head in the sand, ate the humble pie and came to Nairobi to beg to be included in Operation Linda nchi ,this after he realized that we meant business by summoning President Sheikh Shariff to come and declare his position on our operation in his country. Many are afraid that we will run away with the trophy of victory over Alshabaab.
Even if they hate we are used to carrying trophies anyway a fact they cant accept..their real fear is we are proving that we are the best in whatever we do....Now Somalia is a topic of discussion worldwide thanks to KDF ,our military and diplomatic offensive is unmatched. something none of this countries around us cant do even in the next millennium..and whose citizen have made it their business to talk about Kenya and Kenyans their Break fast,Lunch and Supper....they sleep dreaming about Kenya and wake up thinking about Kenya...and to have their daily meal KENYA this! KENYA that! KENYA this KENYA that!!! Perosnally am used to their insults, hatred and malice....tanzanians are not even ashamed of their country being voted the worst place to do business in EAC because of their harsh attitude towards foreigners....they are losing a lot but what can we say!? they were born to hate!! but this wont hinder us from making money (for our selves )using their very own resources they always brag to have.

[h=3]FOUR AMERICAN PETROLEUM GIANTS HAD AGREEMENTS WITH THE AFRICAN NATION BEFORE ITS CIVIL WAR BEGAN. THEY COULD REAP BIG REWARDS IF PEACE IS RESTORED[/h] [h=4]By MARK FINEMAN
[/h] (Mark Fineman, died in Baghdad in September 2003 of a heart attack. He was 51 years old. He was also a great journalist, and a lot of fun to hang out with. He is missed.)

DATELINE: MOGADISHU, Somalia
Far beneath the surface of the tragic drama of Somalia, four major U.S. oil companies are quietly sitting on a prospective fortune in exclusive concessions to explore and exploit tens of millions of acres of the Somali countryside.
That land, in the opinion of geologists and industry sources, could yield significant amounts of oil and natural gas if the U.S.-led military mission can restore peace to the impoverished East African nation.
According to documents obtained by The Times, nearly two-thirds of Somalia was allocated to the American oil giants Conoco, Amoco, Chevron and Phillips in the final years before Somalia's pro-U.S. President Mohamed Siad Barre was overthrown and the nation plunged into chaos in January, 1991. Industry sources said the companies holding the rights to the most promising concessions are hoping that the Bush Administration's decision to send U.S. troops to safeguard aid shipments to Somalia will also help protect their multimillion-dollar investments there.

Endelea hapa ukipenda: It is all about oil in Somalia-Ethiopia.

Warplanes strike Somali militant bases: residents
By Mohamed Ahmed

MOGADISHU | Wed Nov 23, 2011 1:42pm EST

MOGADISHU (Reuters)
- Unidentified fighter jets bombed three Islamist militant bases in Somalia Wednesday, residents and soldiers said, as neighboring Kenya continued its assault on the rebels.

Kenyan troops entered Somalia six weeks ago vowing to wipe out the al Shabaab group, who it accuses of being behind a wave of kidnappings and attacks on tourists in Kenya.

Its air force has launched a series of strikes on what it says are rebel targets.

"Jets bombed three al Shabaab bases around the town of Badade today," local elder, Hilowle Ali, told Reuters. "We were all shocked and ran away. The town is now deserted."

A Somalia government soldier confirmed the raids and said there had also been strikes Monday. He did not confirm that they were carried out by the Kenyan air force.

"The jets bombed near the places where they bombed on Monday. It targeted al shabaab but we do not know the number of casualties," Yunis Macalim Amiin told Reuters.

Al Shabaab also said the raids had been carried out on Wednesday, and that seven bombs were dropped, but that it had suffered no casualties because its fighters had left the area.
